Batman is a psycho authoritarian autist who dresses up like a BAT at NIGHT and beats the living shit out of criminals because he was traumatized by his parents getting got. Now I recognize that this is a comic book movie that was supposed to appeal to everyone but it really was a comic reader's movie. I loved it because I was familiar with the source material. If I had no understanding of the Bat or Supes, I could see why it gets so much criticism. But, the fact remains that there are uninformed morons who have no idea about these characters.
