Season 2 of True Detective is better than Season 1, Only God Forgives is pure kino, Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan are the two best big budget directors in Hollywood. 10 Cloverfield Lane was terrible.

Don't understand Fight Club's adaptation hype. Back in high school it would be what all the edgelords and normies drifted towards. It was like the initiation level kino for adolescent youths because it was probably the first movie they watched which invoked some form of theme and motif reflection on what was presented but ultimately in a simplistic manner. Either that or they didn't look into its indulgence of class and society, identity, morality and masculinity but rather it was just a flashy, retro-noir edge film
