saw the movie while drunk yesterday, don't know warcraft lore, here's what i remember.good orc from frostwolf clan and his pregger wife talk about their babby, she decides to come to the portal with his chieftain husbandoat the portal gathering on a desolate world we see a blue person whom i will assume is a dreanei begs garona to help them, garona is chained by guldan so she says she can't. then guldan gives a speech, sucks the souls of thousands of blue people and opens a portal.pregger orc lady comes out of the portal and is in labor, blackhand is angry at the good orc for bringing her, guldan helps her give birth, the baby is sick, so guldan sucks a nearby deer's soul and makes the baby (thrall?)green and healthy.we see ragnar at a dwarven place, a dwarf friend of his gives him a gun, he gets a message from his human kingdom before seeing what the gun does.

>>70385173a forest patrol was attacked, we are at the human barracks morgue, a guard says they caught a mage running around. ragnar goes to see the mage, asks what he is doing, the mage who ran away from floating mage island as an apprentice says he felt something, they autopsy a corpse, green smoke comes out, mage says the guardian should explain.they go see the king, king says they haven't seen the guardian in years, ragnar and mage flies to the guardian tower.at the guardian tower the guardian and ragnar are good friends, while they talk young mage sees a hooded thing disappear into books, his magical mark acts like a geiger counter so he finds the magical book and takes it, they teleport back.orks are raiding villages, good ork doesn't like taking prisoners for future soul sucking, thinks guldan and his soul magic is evil and un-orky.
note that i'm probably confused about the scene order.

>>70385254the named human characters meet somewhere, we learn that ragnar's sister is the queen, ragnar also has a son who is trying to prove to ragnar how good a soldier he isragnar, the two mages and red-shirts go on a scouting trip to a forest, are ambushed by orks, ragnar uses the pistol to blow blackhand's hand off, guardian uses fell magic to kill orks, they capture garona and one random ork. garona talks some human, the other ork is pissed, they kill the other ork to save garona.back at the kingdom they talk to garona, they all treat her very nice, when she is alone the guardian asks her something about the portal but leaves magically when other people arrive. the queen brings her a blanket and says they can remove her chains,guldan is mad the ambush failed, tells blackhand to kill himself, he dips his amputated arm into fell, good ork cuts his arm off before fell takes over, says they fought honorably.garona agrees to take a scouting party to the orks, while bonding with ragnar and the apprentice.

>>70385473guardian and garona have a chat, they both felt like outcasts, garona's mother was an ork, the father we don't know, guardian gives her a magical flower gift.ragnar is drinking, garona says sorry, he says he won't blame her, romance moment.back at the camp frostwolves are trapped, guldan thanks traitor frostwolf but he is remorseful, he lets baby and good ork lady escape.guardian kills his aide, taints the manapool green, he is taken over by the fellall humans love garona, they give her a dagger gift. i forgot to mention but other kingdoms decided not to fight orks, our kingdom is on its own. ragnar argues they should attack, king and others want a defensive perimeter. guardian arrives, looking good, convinces the king to attack with a very small force. ragnar attacks him, is put into jailmageboy is off to the mage island, he mentions the fell, they take him to a special cube, an old lady tells him about demons and how the fell took over the guardian.

>>70385601garona and ragnar kiss, garona promises to protect the king, they leave.traitor ork releases good ork, good ork challenges guldan to a fight, as they fight guardian starts opening the portal, guldan kills the good ork with magic. orks are distressed but too afraid to do anything.at some point lady ork also died but not before sending the baby ork away moses style down a rivermageboy comes back to the jail, gets ragnar out, they go to the guardian tower to stop the evil guardian. guardian wakes a golem up, ragnar fights golem, they teleport the golem onto the guardian, he diesish.the king and his army arrive, battle between orks and men. men are losing, but after being crushed the guardian is now good again and instead uses the portal to save human captives, king and his army form a defensive perimeter to escort civilians, as they are surrounded, the king begs garona to kill him instead of blackhand so that the orks respect her as a leader, she stabs the king with gift dagger while crying, orks love her now.

i have to say the characters felt a bit bland, but i love most actors involved in this. i love how ragnar acts, garona looked fine, the prophetic cylon from galactica was in it even.
ragnar flies into the battlefield, sees that the king is dead, puts his body on his griffon buy blackhand stops him. him and blackhand duel, he kills blackhand "for his son", takes the king's body, sees the dagger, looks at garona sadly, flies away. guldan wants to stop him but other orks say he beat blackhand in single combat, they respect him.mageboy and ragnar speak about garona, mageboy isn't convinced garona betrayed them. a new king is crowned, ragnar will lead the united army now that the other kingdoms agreed to form the alliance, while guldan and the remaining sizable ork army prepares for war.we see some humans find baby thrall, he roars in a cute way.

overall, i enjoyed it. it felt like they crammed too many things into the movie but i guess they had to. acting isn't great but isn't horrible either. i wouldn't say it's any worse than your average marvel movie.
cgi was great. i wanted garona and ragnar to be happy.
