There's this Baltimore comedian I met in NYC called Nick Mullen, he's the funniest guy I've ever met - he had a troll blog on thought catalogue under the name Nicole Mullen where "her" bio was "Just a fun mom and a teacher at a retarded school. I like recipes and my kids." and he'd write outrageously un-PC columns.
Anyway, he's hilarious and his twitter is great and he recently started a podcast called Cum Town (I swear to god) and it's getting really popular. It's really disorganized but in a comfy way.

As far as Carolla goes, I find him to be unlistenable in his current state, but I love going back and relistening to old ep's of loveline circa 1999-2005. But yeah, he definitely only has like 10 stories.
Also I was a big fan of Best Week Ever, and I've been listening to DLM since it started. It's really hit or miss these days, but the old eps still have me crying. I'm not sure where you could even find them now, but if you ever can get a hold of the first "season" of I Love Movies from before he moved to itunes, they're hilarious. I don't know if he's mellowed with age, or maybe he's worried about watching what he says these days because he doesn't want to offend future guests (or the country of Canada) but he used to be so much meaner back in the day. Like viciously funny. You still sometimes see glimpses of it here and there, but he's really toned down what he says on the podcast in the last couple of years.
The first couple hundred eps of Maron were good before he stuck his head up his ass so far that he's able to lick his tonsils now.

Been binge listening the entire thing since the last few days. It's the only podcast I listen to. First 10 or so episodes are goat and the rest of the first season is really great with special mention to every episode Stamper is in. The Lost episodes are hit or miss but when they hit, they hit good.
I'm kinda disappointed with the second season so far. Stamper's departure following by Zach and Chris moving out of states really hurt the podcast. Jeff is good, Corey eventually grew on me, Mick, Niall and Shadman are fine but the show misses something. They really restructured the whole thing so it becomes more organized and professional but I feel it eventually lost the initial charms of just having a few 20 to 30 something dudes talking about whatever. It's the difference between spending times with your friends and sitting on a couch while they do a play to entertain you.

It'd be nice, but they kind of closed the door on the Daly-verse with that big two part battle of good and evil on CBB a year or so back. I think they've said all those characters are pretty much done now, and a big part of what made that show funny was the detailed backstories that all they all had from his multiple appearances on bang bang.
In order to make a season 2 they'd have to have another dozen or so characters fleshed out, so I wouldn't really hold my breath I'm afraid.
