I'd say Yankee Doodle Dandy, simply because it's actually just an okay movie. It's an American classic solely because of Cagney's performance. If any other actor had played Cohen, the movie would be completely forgotten. It's a 6/10 movie, maybe 7/10, with a 11/10 lead performance.
