FTFY
During school all my friends and everyone else obsessed over the card game. And then suddenly everyone stopped caring about it sometime around 2005.
Why was the second season so bad compared to the first?
Did I miss huge parts of the plotline, or was it superweak?
The characters were nice, I liked them. And since there were more main chars than in the first, it gave it a bit more girth. However, I still don't understand the details of how Frank was connected to anything.
The ending made reaaaally feel things, unlike the first, but overall it was worse.
It meandered in places, and could have done with a bit more rewriting.
Also the first half of the season isnt as good as the second.
Regardless I liked S2 Velcoro was great

Hello, reddit!
>>71072746
Yeah I really liked Velcoro, I could understand his flaws.
Frank was nice too, I liked how he walked and talked.
The ladycop was a bit irrtating at first, but then I liked her too. And she is hooootttt.
The gay cop then again, I didn't really get attached to him.

I was just passing a Hot Topic at my mall and I saw this
>>71072529
>just passing
Bullshit. Show us what you bought.
It's literally the most Hot Topic esque movie I've ever seen made on the Hollywood level. It's genuinely ridiculous.
>dat fucking ending
so many mysterious unsolved. god fucking damn it. sgu had the potential to become the best of the stargate series.
and what happend to scifi? did the whole genre die with sgu?
>>71072247
>sgu had the potential to become the best of the stargate series.
Nah never. It would have never become the comfy, funny and light-hearted show the way its predecessors were because the cast was atrocious and the writing was even worse.
I agree the second half of the second season got better because of the more suspenseful writing, but fuck literally everything else about this garbage shitshow.
>>71072657
I loved the idea of a real overarching plot. the ancients building a ship to go look for god was very, very interesting in my opinion.
sg1 and sga didn't have much of a storyline, it was enemy-of-the-week pretty much the whole way through.
>>71072657
>It would have never become the comfy, funny and light-hearted show the way its predecessors were
not every scifi show needs to be a lighthearted adventure.
ds9 and BSG had very dark storylines about real people and real drama and both are considered scifi classics.
Why was this nigga complaining about Theon making fun of him?
>>71072228
He's an insecure ultra-manlet.
Theon made fun of him.
>>71072228
Right, like no one has ever made fun of him.

So will he kill her?
>>71072035
No, she told Arya they'll meet again. Plus she and KInvara will hook up Jon and Dany. Jon won't kill the woman who resurrected him.
>>71072035
No, just hatefuck.
>>71072035
He is starting to act like Ollie with those obvious stares
Was Spectre better than Quantum of Solace?
Yes.
>>71071988
Is it worth getting on blu ray?
>>71072054
It's pretty good.
Not nearly as good as Casino Royale but good.

Why are they making a movie about holocaust deniers in 2016? Spending all that cash to discredit 1000 people on the internet seems like such a fucking waste..
And its not even some tongue-in-cheek comedy, this movie looks actually serious
The jews will spend every last penny they have to keep that narrative alive as it's their most powerful political tool.
>>71071879
What the fuck are you even talking about?
>>71071879
Reminder that gas chambers never existed as a means of mass murder. Zyklon B was used as a delousing agent. The camps were holding camps, and the majority of deaths (somewhere between 200,000 - 350,000) were due to starvation and disease due to lack of supplies because of allied bombing.
This means what the Germans did to the Jews was still bad, just not uniquely evil in any way, and certainly not worth 1/10th of the press it has gotten since.
Say what you will about Jackson's Hobbit trilogy, but this scene was kino
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gleorTAQ3AM
But it was just a big CGI clusterfuck with no weight behind it
The movie was way too tonally inconsistent and visually lifeless for that scene to have any impact
>mfw an episode of GoT had a better battle
>>71071526
why is the cgi so disgusting ?

Every Jake Gyllenhall movie. Prove me wrong
is he invincible? it seems like everything was missing him. cavalry couldn't touch him, arrows fall all around him, no one ever at his back, survives being crushed.....did the lord of light bring him back for a reason and is now protecting him for a greater purpose?
He is the chosen one.
>>71070983
le chosen one
Jon Snow hasn't even done anything besides tried to get himself and/or his men killed. His only "talent" as a leader seems to be having friends who can bail him out of his failures.
And the Lord of Light chose this one over Stannis. Fuck that god, I'm with the sparrows now.
What moment did you realize this show would never be good again?
I dropped it after Robb died
>>71070946
When they intoduced the sand snakes like children's cartoon villians.
The one with the short hair has incredible tits though.
>>71071145

It's OK. Somewhat boring. The book is way better, as always.
