The latest report on zany Jared Leto comes from E!Online, who spoke with co-star Viola Davis. Davis stars as Amanda Weller in the film, and much like the rest of the cast, was a recipient of one of Leto’s “crazy” gifts. What was her gift? A box of bullets, apparently, which didn’t sit well with her.
>“It was a little worrisome,” Davis said. “It made you a little bit nervous and I’m pretty tough. You know I got into a few fights when I was growing up…but it scared me a little bit.”
>Symbols of firearms make liberals who have never shot guns uneasy

Reminder that Leto will open fire to the crowd during the premier.
Recommend a movie from the decade of the last digit of the post above you. If 0 or 1, use the 2000s and the 2010s respectively

I'll start and recommend Norma Rae, an old favorite of mine. An Oscar-winning performance by Sally Field. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norma_Rae

I appreciate your joke, but actual movie recommendations in this thread ONLY please.
I just got back from seeing pic related at the cinema and have some comments about it. Firstly, although I guess it works as a sequel and quick cash grab, it is very paint by the numbers and is a forgettable film. Other things:
>goes overboard with the cgi that looks bad even today
>too many characters and they all do very little
>old characters return for seemingly little reason beyond reminding people of the original - e.g. Judd Hirsch's character and the black stripper
>blatant pandering to a chinese audience (especially up until the aliens return)
>forced relationships between characters that barely interact - eg Jeff Goldblum's character kisses some woman at the end of the film with whom he might've shared a couple of lines at most
>unnecessary scene where Brent Spiner's character is implied to be gay
>ending which sets up a sequel
Anyone else here seen it yet?

Not yet, but I planned to see it. Especially because of the ayylmaos

Is Seinfeld over-rated?
Seasons 1 through 3 are underrated and elaine wasnt such a larry david mouthpiece. The later seasons are neither nor.
>>71166349
Seinfeld is correctly rated
>>71166349
No. The only people who overrate it are youngfags who don't realize how revolutionary it was during the 90s.
This show is a fucking bore now. It's a shame because season one is so fantastic. Now it just feels like a boring ass Halt and Catch Fire sitcom. All the technobabble and law proceedings are alienating and uninteresting to be honest. The first season had a good balance and actually felt like a witty comedy.
>>71167324
>technobabble
maybe big bang theory is more your speed
>>71167324
Looks like it's back to watching Big Bang Theory for you. What kind of relationship shenanigans are they going to get into next? Perhaps a marriage episode?

I've pretty much seen everything, so I'm looking for a new series. Is it any good?
>ancient civilization with advanced technology
>war movie has scenes of troops relaxing and shooting the shit
Iraq was a fun deployment in a weird way. I missed home so fucking bad but all the black market dvds I could buy for a few bucks just so I could play that shit with my fellow 91Fs back at the green zone while we did our best to unfuck small arms.

The underdog getting his ass kicked the whole movie only to come back in the end and beat the super baddie no one else can take on.
Pretty much anything with underdogs if it's done right. But who doesn't love an underdog?
>sees her entire family brutally killed by nazis
>escapes and spends her life hating them
>meets a handsome young german soldier
>bond through their love of film
>conflicted between her love for him and her hatred of nazis
>he hates the nazi idealogy too
>learns to look past the uniform and falls in love
>he deserts the Reich...

I see that you've invented faster than light travel, but I can't peddle that to 80 year old women on QVC, so for that reason I'm out
I will give you anything you want. In return all I want is 3 seconds of uninterrupted eye contact.
In exchange for 90% of your company you'll give me $100 000. I will let you call me once every 3 months for 2 minutes to give you my advice on any issues that have arisen. My expertise and years if experience is worth more than that but I'll do that just for you. In addition, I'll have to have you sign over the deed to your house and every 4th Tuesday in every month I will share your bedroom with your wife on the sole condition she does anything I say. Time's a ticking if you don't take this offer in the next 10 seconds, I'm out.
About time someone started this thread. i was going to do it but I'm too lazy.
Home Alone 2 is kidkino. Do you agree /tv/?
It was a pretty magical movie when I was a kid, and I remember identifying it as clearly the better of the two.
