>The background of our cover showcases new Imperial weaponry being used against the nascent Rebellion: taller, slimmer walkers known as AT-ACTs hauling cargo, and flatter, fang-like interceptors known as TIE Strikers.
>New information about Jyn Erso (The Theory of Everything’s Felicity Jones), the outlaw who has clashed with both the Rebellion and the Empire, and now has a chance to clear her ledger of past wrongs by leading a mission for the good guys. It’s also personal – her father, played by Mads Mikkelsen,...

>Do we really need one of the best selling and one of the most popular characters of all time that is recognizable across multiple generations and cultures, in movie that exists solely to make money

Also, was the rumor about Christensen returning to play Vader under armor and undergoing related training just a rumor, /tv/?
What are some good political thrillers /tv/?

Are you guys hyped for this? I have reached maximum hype levels. Let's just hope it isn't trash.
Some of the casting:
Kevin Hart ... George Beard (voice)
Thomas Middleditch ...Harold Hutchins (voice)
Nick Kroll ... Professor Poopypants (voice)
Ed Helms ... Mr. Krupp / Captain Underpants (voice)
Jordan Peele ... Melvin (voice)
Nancy Cartwright ... Evil George / Evil Harold (voice)
Are they going to have the ending where Harold comes out of the closet and meets his wife's son?
>You will never be a child reading the books for the first time

RAAAAAGGGHHHH I WANNA GO BACK I DON'T WANNA DO THIS ANYMOORRREEE
What's the best piece of vampire fiction on screen?
Not necessarily the best kind of vampire in lore and abilities but the best execution of it in a narrative.
My money's on pic related. Let the Right One In presented vampirism in a nuanced and concise way that directly served the story. No expository moments of "our kind have walked in the shadows for 10,000 bla bla bla." Apparently thats in the book which I think is a better place for it. The film shows what its vampirism is by presenting it in action.
Vampires are pretty dumb
this is a good one, Herzog's Nosferatu as well
What We Do in the Shadows is hilarious and savvy when it comes to playing off cinematic vampire lore
My personal favorites are Fright Night, Bram Stoker's Dracula and Near Dark.
Interview with the Vampire and 30 days of Night get honorable mention.

The hounds never fed any babies.
You also don't know what feral means.
He was just being his usual cocky self. Dogs weren't feral btw.

This is Scorsese's indisputable worst film. Prove me wrong.
Not even subtle bait.

hugo was appallingly shit. and I love ancient movies, i've watched the entirety of Les Vampires and most of Melies' surviving work
ANT VS MAN
This guy and Obediah Stain or whatever his name was, Jeff Bridges in Iron Man, they are the types of villains that more capeshit movies need. Ultron, Apocalypse and the evil alien from BvS are all unrelateable. Sure, they're cool to look at. They monologue and it's satisfying when the good guys finally get a punch in, but who the fuck cares?
There's no stakes, no reasoning. It's always just 'fuck this shit', that being the earth. Why don't they have human motivations and weaknesses?
It just seems like killing gods over and over...

Sad that Marvel got a nice beginning with Red Skull and Obediah and then, fuck.
Yellowjacket was really enjoyable. More than I expected anyway.

WITH NO SURVIVORS
>With great power comes great responsibility.
This is nothing but slave morality, attempting to siphon power away from the people who've earned it, to the powerless.
The only responsibility powerful men have is to enrich their own lives, and if that includes rightfully subjugating the powerless then so be it.
The less worthy will always attempt to steal from the powerful, and they need to be put down and taught who their masters are like the filthy dogs they are.

Obviously they were. Not backing down on that is the only non-cuck thing Ross ever did. Which is good, because Rachel is a narcissistic bitch and needed a strong personality to keep her happy.
