It was okay and I, being a fan, liked it. A sort of Daniel Craig redoing a best of from the classic Bond movies.
I really don't get how he survived the
drills to the brain that were calculated to leave him in a vegetative state. It's a movie and all, but film Bond survives the death traps by evading them, not because he has a superhuman healing factor. Ex. the laser in Goldfinger.
OP again. The title song was obviously atrocious. 2-3 notes that never went anywhere and could perhaps have consisted of a simple intro, but this turned out to be the full song!
The score was the usual Hollywood action tripe. No melodies, no themes. Just mindless filler to the action.
People were pissed at the prospect of a blond Bond, but they don't give a shit about the disappearance of Barry's atmosphere? Rhetorical question...
Christoph Waltz's character and acting was the only bad thing about the movie. Interesting because he is the only fucking thing that the critics praised.
first drill went through his jaw just like a test. he escaped from the one that would have crippled him
I loved the theme. Didn't even notice the score, so are probably right about that.
The Twilight Zone vs The X-Files
My vote goes to The Twilight Zone.
>Expect a movie about the horrors of war, sanity, effects of starvation and famine in horrible weather conditions
>Get 10% of that and 90% "muh wendigos are real" and a bunch of gore
I mean I liked it but.. what the fuck.
Not because of the movie itself, but because it made me read the book.
Completely changed my life.
Rupert Grint and Ron Perlman in a comedy about how Kubrick faked the moon landing.
I heard this idea here years ago, so either the Jews really are watching the /swg/ threads or someone here actually made it.
Would you get a /tv/ tattoo?
Will it be any good?
Why are space nazis the best written alien in modern science fiction?
Why are none of you talking about this show?
apparently they could exist within the same universe
Why did they make him a gay, then a traitor, then kill him off?
It didn't fit at all with the rest of the story, did they have to write him out because he demanded more pay or something?
ITT: Your dream movie ideas
Predator 3 is set in the distant past, where instead of having big guns to fight with, the protag has to use sharp sticks and his own ingenuity.
Basically, Apocalypto vs Predator.
Predators seem to be about fair fights or close to fair fights. But fighting on some level of equal weaponry. But a predator coming across a primitive people and disregarding most of it's tech and just fighting with maybe that retractable spear and melee weapons seems pretty awesome too.
Not really fair fighters, they ambush and hide like cowards. Sure they might not go after unarmed people, but remember in the original how the jungle predator would shoot people in the back while in camo off in the distance? Not really fair. And when he was beat by dutch, he didn't die in honor, but instead tried to kill dutch with the self destruct bomb.
Explain this show to me
Is there any character from any movie less deserving of an action figure (who got one) than Sio Bibble?
If you were a kid with a Sio Bibble action figure please justify your life choices.
