What's your favorite movie where the good guys lose in the end?
you forgot saving private ryan. literally a movie about war criminals.
>The two "German" soldiers who are shot trying to surrender were speaking Czech. They were saying, "Please don't shoot me, I am not German, I am Czech, I didn't kill anyone, I am Czech!" They were members of what the Germans called Ost [East] Battalions, men - mostly Czech and Polish - taken prisoner in eastern European countries invaded by Germany and forced into the German army.
So I just started watching this, and just finished watching the one episode where Walter is deciding whether he wants to kill or spare Emilio (the drug dealer locked up in the basement). I'm at that part where he opens up the trash can to throw whatever out and sees the pieces of the plate he broke when he passed out, and suddenly notices a piece of missing. How the fuck does that even work?
>It's a Tasha Yar episode
lets cut to the chase here.
ive revised my previous opinions, Tasha is goat TNG chick
What is your problem with Attack of the Clones? I just viewed it tonight and found it quite beautiful.
I wanted more Sheev scenes, Obi-Wan actually doing interesting shit, and a cool new villain played by Christopher Lee, but instead I got 2 hours of an underwhelming plot and cringeworthy love scenes.
TRUE DETECTIVE IDEAS THREAD!
Does /tv/ watch Downton Abbey?
mary a shit, this season a shit.
I was bummed when they first announced they where going to end it and I wanted more but if this final season was what the writers still had left in them than fuck that.
once you notice all the weird faces korra makes when she talks you can't unsee it
So what was the phantom menace? Was it Darth Maul? Was it Sheev? Was it the gungans?
Sheev was the phantom menace. He was the one behind the scenes pulling the strings and causing every problem.

HOW HAS THIS BEEN OUT FOR A DAY AND NO TORRENTS?!
>He mumbles something about a curse
>turns into a spooky skeleton
>drinks some wine
>'looky ms turner, I am a skelly' he says.
>the wine fills his boots
well...now you got to empty your boots, so that was silly.
>'Arrrgh! it's day time now and so it appears my human flesh came back'
>'Looks like I will have to remove the wine...

Why did they want to break the curse? Being immortal seems like a pretty good deal. Also there was clearly no rule against them going onto dry land because they did so repeatedly (such as going on to the island with the treasure chest), so they could have gone onto land and become zombie warlords or something. They were pretty much invincible.
We learned that when Will Turner went to speak with Davey Jones on his ship, Captain Jack Sparrow spied closely, Davey Jones suddenly teleports in front of Jack instantly. Davey jones never once teleported again, not even to save himself by retrieving his own heart..
>Arrrgh jack! remember that time I teleported and spooked you?
>well I'm to tired, no more teleporting
Any recommendations for good--perhaps even great--teen movies? For some reason I'm in the mood but I don't know what to watch. Haven't seen many of them at all. Pretty much pic related, Easy A and Pitch Perfect.
About to watch this, what should I expect?
Post scenes that actually scared you
It's FINALLY out!
Has anyone seen it?
Has anyone at least the interesting pics?
