i cringe watching the trailers for this.
I cried watching the trailers multiple times.
I'm a 25 year old man. I didn't even cry at my father's funeral.

Hi Trekkie

the dialogue in the trailers is atrocious. Its appealing to the lowest common demonitor.
I expect the flick will be littered with collar pulling scenes.
Why do you watch movies /tv/?

So in The Empire Strikes Back, Luke flies in his X-Wing from Hoth to Dagobah. Then he flies it to Cloud City. Did he use a hyperdrive?
At the same time, Han and Leia fly the Millenium Falcon from Hoth to the asteroid belt and then to Cloud City. It is established as a major plot point that the Millenium Falcon's hyperdrive isn't working. So how did they get from Hoth to Bespin? In what seems like a very short amount of time. Is Bespin in the same solar system as Hoth? How fast can a ship go without a hyperdrive?
>>62716101
xwing has hyperdrive
falcon is just really fast and I think bespin was the closest.
Luke's Xwing has hyperdrive, but can't remember where I read that. Either way, it would take days to get anywhere because his hyperdrive computer is not nearly as good as the Falcon's. So how does Luke piss and shit along the way?

Why was Gomez so fucking cool?
Hell, why was Raul Julia so fucking cool in general?
>>62715524
i watched the first adams family on halloween, first time since it came out, and i was suprised how good it was. is the 2nd one as good?
also, raul is pretty cool, but all i know him from is adams family and street fighter, has he done other noteworthy things i should check out?
>>62715549
It's actually considered better. I fucking love both Addams family movies.
>>62715549
>is the 2nd one as good?
No but it's still enjoyable. That could be nostalgia though. I watched the first one dozens of times when I was little.
You guys think Tom Hardy can be the next James Bond? I feel like he'd feel the role nicely. But I wonder if he would feel too much like Craig. Each Bond tended to come with their own personality, though maybe the Craig personality is what the modern person sees when we think of James Bond. Then again, Im sure there's people who are still thrown off from the Pierce Brosman to the Craig transition.
He's as much of a faggot as Craig, so most people won't notice the difference.
>>62715450
I'd be content with Dan Stevens or maybe Michael Fassbender, but Hardy seems a little too...I dunno, rugged? He's more of a type that would make a good Bond henchman, like Oddjob or Jaws.
I really think it's about time that role gets some color. It's the current year people.
What does /tv/ think of this?

Guys the Martian is really good it's like Gravity but entertaining and a bit more believable (emotionally) despite being less believable.
The science is atrociously shitty
>just ran the numbers guys
>im gonna hack the shuttle with 24 int edits and qml(actually I don't recognize the language it's possibly made up)
But it's really good at the same time since it's never really artificially tense, by that I mean someone's gonna die, rather than relationship isn't going well...

Hoo boy.
As science goes, it hits the mark better than Interstellar or Gravity. Don't know what the fuck you're on about there.
DUDE SCIENCE LMAOare there supposed to be plants in that pic?
>>62715159
Promo pic, they fucked up. No Martian Plants in the movie except for the ones Damon makes.
Kinda like the lightposts in the Kylo Ren promo pic.
I just finished watching this show on Netflix and why was the first season the only one worth watching?
All of the other actors who portrayed the main character are sappy and corny to all hell while the main actor in season one was bad ass.
This show is literally shit tier except for the first season and I'm unsure on why I even stuck with it toward the end.
David Tennant wasn't bad.
