Based film desu
What did /tv/ think?
only saw it last week, great movie
Prisoners is THE example of IMDB sensibility cinema. It doesn't get more juvenile "film buff" than this movie. Everything from the casting, to the themes, to the cinematography. It physically pains me to even think about it. Fincher was always the epitome of IMDB to me until this movie, but then Villenvue managed to topple him.

>I had a bad dream.
>I dreamt Lenore came back and stole Lenore and then Lenore drove off with Lenore and I ran down the street after them and I yelled Lenore!, Lenore! and then my teeth fell out

whats the one about when dating the girl then redcorn keks him
>i want to dress up as creatures from the forest and go into the childrens rooms
>>62817755
No Idea. But now you reminded of that episode where he talks about how his dad put him in dresses and called him a girl as his punishments.
>Pretty, pretty dresses
It explained so much bill.
Why do you keep calling me BILL?
>I've been able to tolerate a lot from this show, but this right here was the final straw for me. The forklift jokes were pretty... okay... I guess. They once again made fun of Joe's disability but I didn't think that much of it seeing that they've done worse.
>Then I saw the whale and it immediately made me shudder just knowing that Peter's intervention was going to leave that poor creature injured or dead. My God, was I right. I knew exactly what was going to happen before it happened, but...

Tbh an ocean creature that's either dumb or suicidal enough to get stuck on dry land isn't worthy of our compassion
this show has been predictable for years now, just think of the most offensive thing you can do in the given situation and that's what happens, everytime

IT'S
NOT
THE
SAME
You have to admit, even if you think Family guy was always bad, it used to a very different, more innocent type of bad.
I don't think there's any show that changed more than this one, other than maybe the Simpsons.
>>62817367
Old Family Guy is funny in a 70s alternative comic way
And I loved it
>Brain Griffin
>you can actually hear Chris yell "GO BRAIN!" amongst the crowd in the stands
Always cracks me up.
pretty much the same shit to me, just more stale
you probably just got older
I'm looking for a movie that will fuck me up or trip me out. But in a well done way. I'm thinking Salo or The Holy Mountain. Which one? Any other recommendations?

Would it be worth waiting until I have time to watch them all in one sitting?
This season is fucking stupid.
I couldn't handle it anymore in the first episode when they took the couple up to the room and started drinking their blood or whatever. Too fucking stupid for me to even bother, not gonna put myself through it this year.
>>62817164
This season has been mainly about visuals. I've been enjoying it but mainly because I watch it stoned with the volume on low while I listen to music.
Season one started out good then ended up being shit. Every single season after that has been pure fucking garbage.
I'd rather not spend the rest of the winter TIED TO THIS FUCKING COUCH!

Stop breathing that clam sauce on me.
ME UNDERWEARS!
yippy pippy mother fucker
Aside from The Simpsons
Arrow
Supergirl

>>62817036

>>62817086
You... MEAN GIRL!
If you watch less than 2 films a day, you should not be allowed to post here. There are many more sites out there that are welcoming to plebs such as Reddit

It's funny, because Proyas was born in Egypt.
>>62817048

I dare you to share a better cancelled project
>Pic related
Pro tip: you can't

>hadn't read dune
>just wanted an excuse to jerk off into the film
yeah nah. that movie would have been a travesty in a different direction. the sci-fi mini series ended up being the best adaptation and would have been better than that shit.

Are there some tropes that make you immediately lose interest? Mine are
>alternate universe/history
>time travel (12 Monkeys and Looper were some exceptions though)
>shapeshifter enemy
>mind control
>vampires/werewolves/zombies
needless to say Star Trek was tough
Dystopian future
Human female that is inexplicably physically superior to men
Will Smith
Robots
Secret world that is unknown to most people (like Harry Potter)
Die Hard like story (Olympus has fallen, etc)
>>62816735
>Black Male - White Female pairing
immediately dropped
>>62816923
>Dystopian future
not even The Road?
What would you do with a kilo of unobtainium?
Put it up my butt.
swap it for some dubs
>>62816655
Obtain it.
Is there a more generic movie than Spectre? Not a single original thought in this movie.
>>62816566
