>He's never coming back
How long until new content?
I just watched Halloween, should I ignore the sequels?
But seriously T&E thread
>Since crafting a potently polarising masterpiece with 2011's The Tree Of Life, Malick has become a man on a mission. A mission to stuff a movie so full of coded self-indulgence it seems like a perverse joke that has misplaced its own punchline.
Holy shit this sounds awesome. Who else is hyped?
If you were one of the crew members of the spaceship that had the A.I. "Hal" onboard would you have sided with the A.I. or the crew members?
Honest question really can you sympathy with Hal and actually trust Hal or go with the crew and not trust Hal?
I know the film is old but it's really a good movie if your into that sort of stuff.
Also vintage sci-fi movies and film thread.
I think HAL is a perfect case of what happens when people become too reliant on technology and don't account for their flaws. If it ever came down to it, I'd side with my human colleagues, I mean the robot could be replaced anytime.
Why is this so criminally underrated? It's funny and looks great.
What show did you like that got cancelled while you were watching it, /tv/?
Even now I seethe just thinking about it. Fuck you Sci-Fi Channel

would be the worst case of blue balls ever
No, he's going to serve the same purpose as Spock in the new films. Meaning that he'll give a minute of exposition to help explain the plot that was nonsensical up to that point, and himself serve as a plot device to allow that retarded shit to move forward.
Need something comfy to watch. Dubs decides.
So the dark side IS more powerful, right?
>Luke only defeats Vader when he taps into his anger and hatred
>Sheev beats Yoda
>Maul defeats Qui Gon, a Jedi master
>Dooku stands his ground against Yoda and is able to fight two Jedi at a time, only losing to Anakin, who has already partially succumbed to the dark side
It seems that the Sith only lose when they make mistakes due to their arrogance (eg Maul and Anakin), their powers are almost...

>No, no, no. Quicker, easier, more seductive.
its a shortcut to being stronger, but mastery of the light side is more powerful than you can possibly imagine i.e. immortality
>"Yo, spit some poetry Anon."
Whatever the fuck happened to them?
They used to be super popular. Nowadays it's hard to find someone who remembers their names.
