Itt: childhood crushes
Post some videos of that classic British humour
Underrated Bond movie thread.
Die Another Day for me. It's so over the top and ridiculous but it works here. It's almost like a modernized tongue in cheek parody of some of Bond's campier aspects but I love it. Cheesy sex innuendos, space lasers, ice palace, cloaked car, DNA mutation light masks, nods and references to old Bond movies, Madonna cameo, everything. It takes everything people joke about in Bond movies and somehow makes it entertaining and fresh. Also Brosnan is a great lead.
Actors whose style you try to emulate?
>Rick goes from naive pussy to hardcore motherfucker
>Daryl goes from hothead asshole to total softie with a heart of gold
>Carol goes from meek battered housewife to the most capable badass in the show
Is there a show with better character development than TWD? i think not
>Arnold, you make my girlhood tremble
What did she mean by this?
Is there a good rip of Sicario yet? I have no friends to go to cinema with ;_;

Sup /tv/. I'm kind of a pleb at present. The only currently active director aside from kung fu movie directors that I know that I like is Refn, and Drive and Only God Forgives are among my favorite films.
What other directors can you recommend for me? I love the kind of gritty fairy tale vibe of those movies, the symbolism, and the way ambiguity is used to allow for watching the same movie multiple times and getting something different out of it. I also like how pretty his movies are.
Thanks in advance.
Why do people like Batman more?
Because batman can beat any super hero in his universe without any super powers and he doesn't run away from his problems like a little bitch.
He's more relatable, being a guy whom had some childhood trauma, and then got his shit together (being a billionaire helps) to return vengeance if not on the individual perpetrator, then on evil itself.
Supes is more of an Ubermensh, Christ allegory whom has been used in far too many "cheap" stories where his powers act as a deus machina. Great Americana, though.
I hate myself and want to die, what are some good movies to watch? I'm watching Melancholia right now but need stuff for afterwards
What is the best comedy/spoof film ever made?
just saw Creed. 10/10 movie bros.
Truly a great.
Much more emotional than I thought it would ever deserve to be, but it earned it. It earned it well.
MJB was great and Sly was fucking great.
I'm actually hoping for a Creed 2.

Anyone here believe in God? I only ask because
HE JUST ANSWERED ALL OUR PRAYERS!
The original cast has an open invite to come back. TV can once again see TV's Frank, and we can learn to laugh at horrible movies instead of getting triggered over the cast diversity!
Name a stupid 00s or 90s film for me to watch tonight.
