Open up the flood gates and let the tears roll because I watched this movie all the way through till the end of the credits and I thought, going into this movie, that it was going to be one of those "edgy" gory survival movies but this perticular Film hecked me up pretty well
It literally slaughtered my emotions and I never *ever* cry.
Just FUCKING CHRIST
IT WAS SO GODdamn good but heck
I'm going to be rekt for weeks RIP me
is he right about screen size? why is a 24" monitor not the same as a theater screen.
>can sit as close as I want
>play it as loud as I want
is he just a bitter cunt?
Are there any films that deal with being a manlet?
How does one read film? It wasn't until recently I realized that most visual metaphors go over my head.
I feel reading a film is similar to analyzing a work of text. A lot of the same devices are used story wise but visuals are a whole different story. Visuals are most commonly used to contribute to the story, environment, or used to help convey certain feelings or messages of the film
Kinda like reading context clues in a book. There's also literally nothing wrong with looking up the meaning if you don't get it. Art is subjective and not everyone will have the same reaction to everything. That's what makes art so beautiful.
So how were they caught again and why didn't they just funking ditch their cunt wives and leave if they weren't happy?
I'm generally sick of every gay movie having some shitty unhappy ending because of muh homophobic bigotry.
Can we stop the meme that this is a bad movie. It's well shot and lit, Lisa is a good actress, Tommy has a strong screen presence, and it deals with themes of infidelity, friendship, and loss.
none of that adds up to a good movie. In film if it doesn't feel believable its not good. It doesn't matter that there's a lot of thought put into it. Art is all about feeling nothing more. And this movie feels ridiculous. However as ridiculous as the script and dialogue was in the hands of a great director, say David Lynch, and a great cast and crew it could have been pretty good
Why wouldn't Republic credits be worth anything on Tatooine?
Do they not have exchange services?
Can we get a Godzilla thread going?
I find myself coming back to vs. Biollante, vs. Destroyah and GMK the most often. Recently I just watched Godzilla vs. Gigan for the first time, that was an amazing experience.
also inb4 mothra. mothra fuck off ur twins are shit
I watch the movies on a regular basis and while I have favorites the original and Biollante are truy the best. The original is really somber and dark. Biollante encapsulates everything great abut the series (effects, crazy enemies, stories that really shouldn't work but do,etc).
I'm going to admit that I like this movie and Hedorah.
ITT: "There is a point where this needs to stop, and we have clearly passed it" movies
I love the Lord of the Rings films, but this ghost pirate bullshit still irks me after all these years.
1. Why didn't they just call on them from the beginning? "I will grant you piece if you kill the orcs in Mordor and Isengard."
2. It completely cheapens the Battle of Gondor when the forces of Gondor and Rohan are fighting bravely only to have these ghosts show up and kill everything in like 3 seconds.
Are American high schools really like this?
Movies you walked out of the theater they were so bad, I'll start.
Without delving into Marvel vs. DC shitflinging, can someone explain to me how Batman is even remotely an even match for Supes?
The only two reasons why Supes would lose this fight are Batman having a Kryptonite ring and Superman's unwillingness to kill. And even then, I don't know if a ring's worth of Kryptonite is enough to be fatal.
he's not, people who think batman is more relate-able of a character pretend like he would come up with some master plan to beat superman. Where in reality, Superman would win EVERY TIEM
>m-muh billionaire playboy with equipment more advanced than our governments have is closer to me than a god from space
IT'S TREASON THEN CHRISTOPHA?
