So wait did Obi-Wan vanish as Vader hit him or did Vader actually hit and kill him with the lightsaber?
It was a one off movie, not a planned saga. No one really thought that much about it at the time.
Obi-Wan was a mystical wizard-warrior-monk with cool powers, so he did a mystical wizard thing.
Lucas later said he became one with the force but never really returned to the subject later, complain to him that his mythology makes no sense.
Looks pretty fucking magical.
We're only 12 days away bros. Isn't that crazy? We're so close to new Star Wars.
This film is bullshit.
If you were to enter a black hole you'd die instantaneously
Also there were no "aliens" he even explains they, the main characters, created the events out of sheer force of will, or through the 'power of love'. aliens do not exist
Interstellar actually parallels 2001 A Space odyssey with its theme about the mysteries of human consciousness. Both feature an alien, which really isnt an alien, but representative of mankinds desire to expand our awareness of reality.
Would've been better if "they" was this. i don't care if it's a ripoff, the story would've been better for it
Why haven't we seen any images of him?
Is he truly palaguies or is his design so shitty that disney's trying to save face?
Is it that time again?
Has there been any screener leaks? Its been awfully quiet this year
You were disrespecting him a little bit yourself....
To be quite honest /tv/ used to have semi-regular Threads threads. I think that every newfags who sees this film for the first time needs to go post about it, it's a strong experience.
Was Ross right?
THANK GOD LUCAS IS GONE
Far right: Sidon Ithano "The Crimson Corsair" and First Mate Quiggold.
Would ROTJ be the best SW movie if someone would cut off all ewok scenes and replaced them with wookies?
ITT: Things that trigger you in movies
Pic related is a big one for me: actors/actresses that play instruments on film that obviously aren't actually playing the instrument and don't know how to play the instrument. The way Rooney has her right hand screams "I don't know how to play"; almost every beginner who holds a guitar for the first time puts their hand like that, while no actual guitarist does (except for virtuoso extraordinaire Lil Wayne).
The wear and tear on the guitar (most likely reliccing) triggers me too but that's something...

Isn't that the point of this thread?
What is the best Ghibli film?
Was "The Descent" the last great horror film?
ITT: One movie that is a 10/10 to you
