I don't get it /tv/. I just don't. Why do Ex Machina and It Follows get so much praise for their "complex" themes and visual styles, but no one mentions this film? It's superior in nearly every way, and despite a bit of a slower third act, it finishes incredibly strong, and clearly shows the signs of a director with a complex narrative vision, comparable with 2001 or Antichrist.
Sup Reddit?

that movie was retarded and made me feel retarded

It's extraordinary, and of course the better film. Ex Machina is excellent, tense, It Follows is stylish and effective as well. But yea, Under The Skin is better. It gets praise here from those in the know, but what do you expect from this board? It can't be easily followed with a VLC window in the corner of the screen on 1.5x speed while shitposting so it's lost on most. It's easier to talk about her naked body.
I'm glad Glazer gets to make the films he does. The slow methodical...

I didn't like the ending to this movie.
It's another pragmatic A.I trope that ostensibly is immoral or lacks empathy.
What did /tv/ think of ex machina?

Allegory for female/poc empowerment
I thought the 'genius' main characters were fucking idiots, and the whole movie started falling apart 20 minutes through.

GREAT STORY, MARK
>With “The Hunger Games” franchise behind him, Josh Hutcherson will go from one of the biggest franchises of all time to a film about one of the greatest disasters of all time.
>Hutcherson is in talks to join James and Dave Franco in New Line’s “The Disaster Artist,” the comedy based on the making of the cult classic, “The Room.”
>James Franco will also direct the pic from a script penned by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber.

Anyone else find the scene unintentionally hilarious? They turned a card reading into a soap opera. I laugh every time I watch this scene.
Is that a gram?

Why does Civil War look so bland, dead, and soulless?
Because Snyder is a hack
>>63425130
they both look like that, one is just a little more colorful
>>63425130
Because they're trying to make Captain America into a Jason Bourne flick again.
>actually watch his videos
>most are about bringing to light serious issues Americans should really care more about
>including gross inadequacies in mental healthcare and the criminal justice system as well as mismanagement of funds at the federal, state and municipal levels owing to aggressive lobbying by special interest groups

Started watching this last week because of all the hype here. Season 1 and season 2, great! Season 3, fell of a cliff. Utter garbage. Rarely smiled, let alone laughed.
All three seasons are just as great.
Liar.

Do mods all across the internet use Duracell to power their computers?
How much u wanna bet smoke isn't plagueis but a new char derived from plagueis just like revan with kylo ren? JJ and all the cast didn't even know who plagueis was when a person asked a question during a convention a few months back concerning plagueis. I have a feeling Disney looked at voldemort and though his look would be the most popular for a villain.
If smoke ain't plagueis, wheres the nod to the prequels or trilogies?
