This has probably been posted here already but....
Nick wants to bring back a lot of it's old properties. One of the co-creators to The Adventures of Pete and Pete is the Senior Vice President for it.
This is blatantly a cash-grab, no doubt about it. But how can they do it right? What's the most hilarious way they can screw it up? What are y'alls thoughts on this?
>This is blatantly a cash-grab, no doubt about it.
But a good cash grab
They can only fuck it up if they go by way of Cartoon Network by pandering to the lowest common denominator (or cram SJW shit into it)
Shows like Hey Arnold were
According to the article, the VP in charge of all this says that they're not going forward with any shows unless the original creators are involved.
He's most likely BS-ing, but if he ain't, then that's even better.
I recently started watching this again and honestly don't know how they could possibly reboot it appropriately, minus any pandering in the current hyper SJW climate. For one thing, the best friend Jerold was quite stereo-typically black and was frequently portrayed as dumber and as lacking ethics when compared to main character Arnold. Helga as well, being frequently violent and love sick 'Arnold-obsessed' antagonist of the show would trigger so many feminists, tumblr would likely go ballistic. I mean...

Holy fuck can you say Oscar bait?
>"If I can change, and you can change, everybody can change!"
What did he mean by this?
Everything after Rocky III is complete shit. God damn Rocky III had the perfect ending. Why did they have to ruin it by making more?
Anyone else disappointed by this? I'm as big of an Evil Dead fan as anyone and can't even begin to describe my excitement when they announced they were making it, but every week find myself wanting more.
It's not -bad- per se, but it's just a little on the clunky side. The soundtrack kicks ass and it's great to see Bruce strap on the ol' chainsaw again but the dialogue is lacking at times, his girl sidekick is a terrible actress, and the CGI is unforgivably bad.
Maybe Season 2 will be better.
loved ep 1. liked ep 2. wtf with ep 3?
the girl betrays his trust for the 2nd time, endangers the demon summoning and almost gets everyone killed and he just lets her go scott free? yeaaaaaaaaa right.
and that guy totally fucking died. could they not have stopped and had a silent moment for 3 seconds to acknowledge it and take that seriously? i get this show is supposed to have some humor to it but there are literally no stakes now
I think the series doesn't know what it wants to be at this point. We have to hope that the writers are taking it in a coherent direction, because you can only go so far on a cliche plot line and nostalgia fandom.
I just hope they open it up and really explore the Evil Dead universe instead of just making it a rerun of Supernatural.
I think they're missing the mark on the Deadites and the Evil Dead feel though. Ash has to be powerless against an overwhelming supernatural enemy with no hope of survival of maintaining his sanity.
How do you think Yarael Poof died?
He always seemed so powerful. What could be his one source of weakness?
Lets discuss tonight's episode bros
Movie deaths that really got to you.
/tv/, your honest assessment of this movie? I just saw it and it pisses me off that pixar always crams a fucking tear jerking moment in every one of their movies. As trite and predictable as they are, they always make me bust a tear.
Will it be good?
What went wrong?
Would you still have slept with her in 95 knowing that 20 years later she would become this?
>If I cut off your hair will you die?
Sci-fi movie where monster eats people but won't eat metal. Kills a priest towards the beginning, that's all i can remember.
I've never actually seen an episode of The X-Files before. Whats a good episode to start with? It doesn't have to be the first since I know its something of a procedural.
I'm pretty sure I've seen an infographic guide to the show before the followed different storylines, but I can't find it on google
Also X-Files general if you want
>I SEE YOU!
Uh, wouldn't that mean Sauron knew Frodo had the ring?
