Fraser is just a former star who now has to be in shit to pay the bills, Xander will legitimately be dead within five years, his shit is well and truly fucked in totality, his career has been dead for 12 years and he pays the bills with con appearances.
Was the cringe intentional? The characters were so dumb. I know love can make people into morons, but these two treated each other like shit and dug their own grave.
Sure jealousy and lust and depression are real, but I felt like nothing profound was said about love. Maybe that was the point?
