>Take your Jedi weapon
How is it a Jedi weapon? It's just a fucking sword. Why is nobody ever seen using it besides Jedi? Apparently it's a good weapon and isn't outclassed by blasters in the way guns outclass swords so there's no reason why regular people couldn't be using them. Theyre also easier to conceal. Luke in ANW and Finn in TFA demonstrate you don't have to be a Jedi to use them.
How and why is it a Jedi weapon?
It's only a match for blasters if you have Jedi training to allow you to deflect blaster shots, otherwise you'd just get shot trying to use one.
You also need the Force to be able to use one at all without accidentally hacking all your arms and legs off
That's why it's a Jedi weapon
>You also need the Force to be able to use one at all without accidentally hacking all your arms and legs off
But the blades dont bend. Swordsman's don't slice their own arms off, and they don't have super spiritual zen training. The Jedi are a religious order. The light saber is a mechanical creation. What?
Wielding a lightsaber is incredibly different from a sword. A sword's blade has mass, the lightsaber's beam does not. Attempting to wield it is like gripping a roll of quarters and waving it around; if you're not properly trained, it's very easy to have a poor sense of where the blade is spatially because you can't sense the weight behind your movements.
That and you need training to deflect blaster shots so it's just not worth it. Also making a lightsaber requires a force-sensitive...

Jingle All the Way gets a lot of shit for being about the commercialism of Christmas but it satirizes it too and the kid even gives the doll away in the end
>Bomb goes off in radio station in the middle of metropolitan Minneapolis
>Literally blows up in a police officer's face while surrounded by other police officers
>Played off with a corny one-liner
The 90s were a simpler time.

I think less of people if they dont love Jingle All the Way.
I do not understand how a person can watch that movie and not love it.
I mean unless theyre Jewish or Muslim or whatever but it's still pretty goddamn funny.

Batman Returns is fucking epic. What is your problem with it?
Things happened in Supernatural for once.
I've never seen this show, but I'm glad it exists. It's one of my few constants in life. I can turn on the TV and sure enough there's an ad for another episode of Supernatural that I'm not gonna watch. I can always walk into my local movie store and find a wide variety of Supernatural, over 10 seasons and an anime of episodes that I'm never gonna see. But it's there, it's a constant, and it's fairly comfy. So I support it in every way that I can except consuming the actual media they put out.
Name five films or show that aren't reddit
Anyone watch the new South Park tonight? Just finished it and it was an awesome episode. One of the best seasons I've seen in a long time and they finished off perfectly.
Spot on about the PC stuff and the way they tied it into being just ads and PC at the end was a great transition. Uniting against the common enemy but having to fight it in a PC way, "going to be really hard." Have to play their own game to fight it.
Haven't laughed that hard in ages. I imagine this episode turned the tables on a lot of PC Principle haters. It's like what people night have felt if Jar Jar Binks ended up being a sith.
I can't say it enough, but I fucking hate Ads.
He's going to be the Han Solo, right?
