Is this the greatest show on television?
New Bresson thread since last one got deleted.
What do you think about his Arthurian film?
You should, he takes his elliptical style to a new level, even including suggestive sound snippets like the horses neighing and the armor clanking all the time. And I thought he might have been influenced by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood style in some of the shot compositions and color.
I also think Monty Python were influenced by this film in Holy Grail.
If you made a deal with Liz Hurley to exchange your soul for seven wishes, what would those wishes be?
And how would they go hilariously wrong?
Is he autistic?
So every remake/reboot/late sequel has an ironic line of cynical dialogue meant to subvert the original.
>Where's your pipe Dr Holmes?
>I prefer a cigar
>well, yes, obviously
>would you like it shaken or stirred?
>do I look like I give a bloody damn?
What is the example from The Force Awakens?

After seeing some betafags post their BluRay collections, I decided to throw down the /tv/ gauntlet with my 100% Digital Media Library. Just hit 1,158 movies today, all neatly tagged with metadata and cover art. 6,392 TV episodes across 177 different shows. Stored on a 10TB HDD with backups of backups for the collection. Files are housed in iTunes and streamed over to the TV in 1080p. No more searching in your house for physical media, opening up package, taking the disc from the case and putting it in the slot. All of it instantly accessible with the click of a remote. Encoded...

It's too bad your shitty $199 box can't do 4K or run android apps like the $99 Amazon Fire TV which technically superior in every way.
But I guess you won because I took the bait.
I actually am using the 3rd gen ($69). I returned the 4th gen after a week because of its lack of improvements with HomeSharing. The whole reason I bought it was to search my collection with Siri, which it can't even do. But as for 4K, who cares? There's only a handful of good content out there, and at this point, it's a bandwidth limitation issue. But 1080p ought to be good enough for anyone. It's better than any other media we've had before.
Made me feel sad for the grandparents who were able to come back from the grief of their son's death to raise the kid only to have him die too, dunno how they didn't just say fuck it all and off themselves
Also made me feel a little jealous that I never had a stalkerfu
