My girlfriend is making me watch this movie. What should I expect? Is it good and /tv/ approved?
>>63605237
Bump.
Be sure to make popcorn for her and her son to watch with it for maximum comfiness.
It's really good. I can't believe you've never seen it. How old are you?
Let's have a meet up for people seeing TFA when it drops, we may even be able advert a few no singles policies. Just name your theater, time you're going, and how you can be recognized.
I'll be at Cinemark 20 in Boca Raton, 17th at 7 p.m., will be cosplaying as an Ewok.

How many from his list have you even seen?
if only cancer robbed this guy of his jaw instead
Based Kermode triggering OP and the usual anti-art faggots.
A whole new trilogy? So what about the Blomkamp alien which, they recently confirmed, will happen eventually. Will they make it between Alien Covenant and its sequel? Fox is going all out with this Alien Cinematic Universe. I just want a sequel to Aliens. Sorry Scott, you ruined Space Jockeys.
If they can keep political and religious messages out of it and just make a serious sci-fi out of it, that would be nice.
>>63605294
Scott described himself as an agnostic looking for answer so I doubt it.

I've only seen Syndromes and a Century. What should I watch next by this director? I was planning on watching Uncle Boonmee soon.
Episode 10 will make or break this entire season.

Do americans seriously eat out of buckets?
we need a petition, or just protest by dumping garbage all over the theater after a show
you won't hear gunshots with headphones in
what's the worst scene in the OT?
what's the worst scene in Empire?
Ewoks
Chewbacca swinging on the rope doing the tarzan scream.

Am i the only one who didnt know what the fuck was going on in this film? I know its in Shakespearean but fuck was the dialogue hard to follow
Did not see but this was also a pain in the ass to follow. Shakespeare adaptations require repeat viewings.
>Movie received a 10 minute standing ovation a the Cannes film festival
first time in my life i felt too stupid for a film
>>63604657
The faggots who flock to Cannes would give a short film about a dog turd a standing ovation if they thought it was deep.
How do you think her transition into Hollywood will work out?
Her American accent needs work.
>>63604508
i wish she'd step on my face
her face could use some work too
She looks like she's aging quickly and will be disposed of at the same rate unless she pulls out a stellar performance.
Just saw this, was wondering what the /tv/ verdict is.
In my opinion, there were a bit too many references to the previous movies, too many cliches or cheesy moments and a bad casting choice for C. The whole Blofeld part felt out of place as well. A very mediocre James Bond movie.
What does /tv/ think?
>>63604492
>It was Smee James, the author of all your pain
Who was Smee?
>>63604492
I thought it was all good up until the Spectre base exploded.
First of all, why did it even explode? Did the watch systematically destroy the entire complex, or was it self-destructed? There's no clear reasoning.
Secondly, everything after that moment felt very rushed and crammed together. They had too many things to tie up and refused to leave anything for the next movie to deal with, but they didn't have enough time to properly conclude all of it at once so it was very sloppy.
>>63604599
That was very odd indeed, I guess the small explosion from the gas valve supposedly led to the big explosion? Didn't understand that either.
I also didn't completely understand the torture scene, I assume he missed the target with the second puncture, because he didn't forget anything. I also found the scope and information about Spectre itself lacking.
In retrospect, the first scene/location was probably the best, in Mexico.
What's his best movie?
Jingle All The Way

Pleb: The Thread.
The appeal is right there.
maybe after you've grow up a bit you'll have acquired the life experience and perspective to see No Country for Old Men for the masterpiece it is.
