Is the fifth season of the Wire worth watching? I heard that it ruined the show for a lot of people. Should I pretend it never happened and end on a high note?
It doesn't ruin anything and it doesn't disappoint either. It just wasn't as good as the other seasons but still very good compared to most shows out there.
The ending was very satisfying too, every time i watch it i remember how good the show felt
I like it a lot better upon reflection. The season lost the hyperrealism that made the first 4 so unique, but in favor of crawling through the meta of those seasons to tie everything up on a thematic level. Some of the shots are genuinely breathtaking, it's just too bad the newspaper story was criminally underused

>Whether by jejune dialogue, hackneyed action sequences or its Bantha fodder of a plot; The Force Awakens will have many lifelong Star Wars fans in a Vader-like dolor
>you will never live on a spaceship with these people

Just finished it, and Serenity, for the first time, really good. Nice world building, score, endearing cast, comfy. Is Buffy (as) good?
Is Michael Moore the best political documentary filmmaker alive? The only criticism I ever see of him is the obvious (he's fat) and that his editing techniques sometimes manipulate and compress time in favor of his argument (a standard of documentary filmmaking). Has anyone seen Where to Invade Next? I thought it was breddy gud but also made me wonder why I live in such a shithole country and to jump ship, which I think was the opposite of what he intended to convey (which was, instead, America can be great and we can fix it).
Star Wars TFA is getting good reviews on IMDb.
Thoughts of this?
Are you ready for the disappointment that will be Half in the Bag Episode 100?
So what was Sheevs, or the siths, real goal?
The empire had the majority of the galaxy under control, but I mean surely he must have had something else in mind or was he really just gonna sit on his ass on his throne all day?
Would he vote for Trump?
Got a watchlist with over 100 films in it.
Help me pick which ones to watch first!
>Monica > Rachel >>>>>>>> Phoebe
>Chandler > Joey > Ross
>Chandler > Monica > Joey > Ross > Rachel >>> Phoebe
Seriously, if you like Phoebe you might as well like Tim Heidecker, Jennifer Lawrence, Filthy Frank and other 'woah, so random xD' stuff, back to reddit.
>star wars TFA LA premier tonight

Who is this guy? We see him standing around a few times, and he seems to work for Sheev. Is he a sith? Why is he working for the bad guys?
>Following the Empire's formation Amedda became one of the first members of the Imperial Ruling Council. Despite losing his title of Vice Chair, Amedda retained a position of power, acting as Palpatine's representative in the Senate. As his position soon became largely irrelevant, Amedda was relegated to reclaiming lost Sith artifacts from worlds previously quarantined by the Jedi Order. Despite this apparent demotion, Amedda enjoyed his ability to pursue his thirst for knowledge of Sith history,...
