>While "The Hateful Eight" meanders, it never drags. Tarantino has ostensibly constructed a slow-burn whodunit sped up by the vivacity of his characters.
>No matter how absorbing its individual scenes, however, "The Hateful Eight" is often hindered by Tarantino's confidence in the material.

>The grim finality of the movie's concluding shot ranks as the most cynical moment in Tarantino's career
I'm going to guess it's like the end of Death Proof but the "good guy" in place of Russel, in fact since he's in it maybe he's the one dealing it this time. I haven't seen a trailer for this and I actually want to watch it blind but to me that's what it sounds like.
Did the black cock scene happen?
So 1 and 2 were pretty fucking shitty. I heard 3 is generally regarded as the best of the prequels. Here's to hoping it's good.

Its not, unless you enjoy interacial porn, re hashing old ideas, and unexplained bullshit.

Literally the only reason The Wire has a lower rating than a Game of Thrones on IMDB.
Take children out of the equation and The Wire is the greatest TV show of all time.

I'm watching the 1st season of The Wire and I just got done watching the episode where DeAngelo teaches the younger kids chess. I was blown away! I had to watch it a couple times to really pick up on it, but did you guys realize that when he was teaching them about the chess pieces, he was really referring to THEM being the pawns!
It was so deep and meaningful, I am amazed by the deep symbolism of this.
Do the later seasons continue on with masterful symbolism like this? This was truly the pinnacle of storytelling that I have ever seen on a television show,...

What did he mean by this?

That the prequels were hackshit.

What do you mean by this?
Why is solid snake posting so popular
>>63679254
I have the theory that Obi-Wan was the worst most incompetent , nihilistic and moraly grey jedi in existence, not just supported by that

Where did it go wrong, /tv/?
when that fat, middle-aged skank first put pen to paper

I loved it. Comfy as fuck to watch on ur day off and its raining outside. Snuggle up under the covers and marathon that bitch

Imagine how much better the story would be if Edward and Jacob were girls
Why didn't Leia just lied and said the rebels were in some other random planet? She must've known there was always the possibility they would destroy Alderaan anyways.
>>63678850
They already knew where the rebel base was. Tarkin and Vader only wanted to break her.
>>63678885
Oh ok.. I must've missed that part.
I was also wondering why they didn't just torture her for the answer.
>>63678979
Torture is unethical.

B-but Iron Man 3 was funnier than anything Joss has done
Shane gets dialogue and humour.

so you're saying IM3 was better than Avengers?
Never seen this. Is it worth watching if I don't like westerns?
What do you want to hear? It's excellent, but very much a western, so...
Yes, its his best.
yeah
it isn't a movie about a dusty town, bandits, and a lone gunman at sunup
it's more of a period piece than your generic western
What's the verdict?
I didn't watch it but I think it's shit.
Rapunzel is superior.
Go to /co/ for fuck sake
It's a legitimate question you're asking, but it doesn't belong on this board
So, it's finally over.
The el dude brothers are no more.
What did you think of the finale and the final season as a whole?
I loved the finale, I was worried it would get too sentimental and self-referencial but it managed to hit all the right emotional notes without getting stupid.
we'll see you in 20 years.
Finale was bad, final season was below average.
Did these people look like "space marines" to you?
You want me to fetch your slippers for you?
Why are they wearing camouflage in outer space? Why is their whole aesthetic "Vietnam in space"?
It wouldn't be such a problem if it weren't for the fact that the costumes and tech in Alien strived for authenticity and utility.
day in the corps is like a day on the farm
What are the best /tv/ approved movies of this year ?
>>63678591
All movies are shit according to /tv/.
>>63678591
90 minutes in Heaven
Beasts of No Nation
Bone Tomahawk
pic related was a shitfest that could have been redeemed by not casting a no talent muscle head as Kyle Reese
last ep just went 10/10
it absolutely shits on whatever Walking dead ever had to offer
DUDE ZOMBIE WEED LMAO
This show went from random trash shit to GOAT comfy zombie show.
Based Murphy
it just reeks of success
it doesnt take itself too seriously which only bumps it up a notch, as it can actually pull off crazy shit once in a while, and it still plays with the world, having fun and just going wild
WD just feels rigid and stale, nothing happens during many episodes, and forced deus ex machina in 'too serious' shit ruins it plenty
WD is ppl drama with zombie background, while ZN is a ZOMBIE show
no comparison really
