Did anyone here actually get into blurays?
I think after the DVD era I basically just got into downloading everything.
does anyone actually have a dedicated bluray player and bluray collection?
>>63684835

I like blu-rays because I like to have the best video quality
>not having a Blu Ray player in 2015
Are you homeless and posting on your computer in a Starbucks?
Blu ray is still the best quality.

Should I watch Star Wars: The Rebels before I go see the movie this weekend?
>>63684668
Rebels takes place in between 3 and 4 so theirs no reason I can see that it would benefit you.
>>63684746
would it benefit me in the same way that watching any other good show benefits me?
Which is a super gay way of asking, is Star Wars: The Rebels worth watching?

He didn't. It was the jedi Saifo Deaus (no clue how to spell his name) who initiated the order, remember? I imagine the jedi have a metric fuck ton of money.
Harry, did I ever tell you about your father's invisibility cloak? it is a legendary artefact known to hide people from death. I took it from him when your family was hiding from Voldemort. He was a good friend.

ITT movies that don't deserve their reputation
at least it actually tried to give mario a story, mario games themselves barely have a story
>>63684672
yet they're successful. no story is better than a shitty story, that movie proves it.
>>63684902
i know but it was 1993, why did so many people bitch about it? i could understand if it came out in the 2000s
an accurate depiction of the mario games in a live action movie would have been gay and you know it
What did he mean by this?

But women dont buy toys.
Lonely whitemales and nerds buy toys. SW is 5% ticket sales and 200% toys.

This board is populated by millenials who were linked here from facebook, the last thing you can still do is being uppity and weeping.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek_Beyond
>Paramount "had a script for Star Trek that wasn't really working for them. I think the studio was worried that it might have been a little bit too Star Trek-y." For his role as the primary screenwriter, Pegg had been asked to make this new film "more inclusive", stating that the solution was to "make a western or a thriller or a heist movie, then populate that with Star Trek characters so it's more inclusive to an audience that might be a little bit reticent."

Fuck this gay earth.
There are already two other threads on this, do we really want to become the new Star Wars posters, shitting up the board with 25 threads at once?
Luke Skywalker has disappeared. It is a
time of uncertainty. Unrest grips the
galaxy as the influence of THE FIRST
ORDER spreads.
A glimmer of hope remains in the heroic
forces of the Resistance. General Leia
Organa dispatches her top pilot to recover
a clue that may lead to her missing
brother.
The dark enforcer Kylo Ren, obsessed with
the Skywalker lineage, learns of the
Resistance plan and arrives at the planet
Jakku to intercept the pilot...

Not a bad crawl actually. Well worded.

CLEAN WESTERN TOILETS
What are some really well done gritty dark action sci-fi movies like Robocop 1 and Terminator 1 about machines? One could argue that Robocop isn't as "dark and gritty" as Terminator 1, but it really has those dark moments early on where he gets completely shot up and it shows all of the other people who were made into machines killing themselves which really showed that Murphy is special because of his drive toward justice keeping him sane.
I actually did not like Blade Runner.
>>63683847
>One could argue that Robocop isn't as "dark and gritty"
negro, robocop must be one of the most violent movies ever.
>>63683906
Yeah, but it's not dark and gritty. It's cartoon violence. That's part of its charm.
Bicentennial Man is pretty dark. He watches everyone he loves grow old and die.
