In this thread, we write a formal apology to George for the past 15 years of hatred, in which we were completely ignorant as to what horrors he held at bay. I shall start:
>No pod racing
>No comfy underwater trip
>No giant sea monsters
>No Jar Jar
>No unorthodox wise Jedi master
>No giant space city the size of an entire fucking planet
>No interesting machines that could be sold as toys for your kids
>No red face horned bad ass Sith assassin
Does this movie even hold up to The Phantom Menace?
were going to look back at the prequel days as if THEY were the good days
how foolish we were. Can't wait to show my kids Lucas' star wars original 6. Everyday I respect Lucas more. It was HIS idea, HIS label, HIS movies, he took them whatever way he wants like a boss.
ITT: Films so patrician, they don't even have reviews
would you watch it?
C'mon /tv/, you know you liked it.
Did anyone else saw coming that
Rey was the main character all along, not Finn?
Hell, even the poster is misleading.
I have to admit, that was pretty cool, although
they revealed both "tweests"way too soon into the movie.
I didnt watch any of the trailers or joined discussions on /tv/ until I had actually seen the movies.
I'm glad I did, otherwise, I wouldn't had enjoyed the movie as much as I did, despite its flaws.
If I knew that was going to be THE main plot point, I wouldn't have felt it as much as it did.
I hated how she was STRONG WHITE WOMAN WHO NEEDS NO MAN right from the start.
I cringed at the scenes where she shouted LET GO OFF MY HAND, WHY ARE YOU GRABBING MY HAND? I CAN RUN BY MY OWN.
Man, what a bitch
Any Christmas themed movies you plan on watching?
this is a christmas movie no matter what anyone else says
If Lahey isn't your favorite character, you have shit taste.
Do the cucks that like this movie (without offering any reasons why) concede that the score was handled ABYSMALLY?
In most of the reviews I've read they don't really mention the score.
I think the hand of Disney has waved away any criticism about this from professional reviews.
I don't think specifically I can remember anyone on /tv/ defending the music, but there is always going to be idiots.
what's next for his career?
>i'm being torn apart
>i wanna be free of this pain
>and i know what i have to do but i don't know if i have the strength to do it
>will you help me?
He's basically asking Han to help him go full darkness since he still has some light in him and wants it gone. And then he gets rektd lel
How are we supposed to take him seriously again? Will he be a punching bag throughout the trilogy? What a disgrace.
He got shot by Chewbacca's blaster. That shit should insta kill him, yet he was so badass, stood up and made up a really good fight with skilled Trooper, and a girl with the biggest force in the history. Well, that's what i want to believe in anyway.
Snoke believes Kylo to be the ideal embodiment of the force due to his balance of dark and light
Maybe he'll get his revenge against her in the next film
>from here on out the star wars shitposting will steadily decrease for the first time in years
So did they explain what the crossguard was all about?
Leaked pics of starkiller base firing the weapon
what would you do for peter jackson to make a Silmarillion movies with same love and mid CGI he used in lotr trilogy?
I would rather Silmarillion be left alone.
Not everything can be adapted to film format, nor should it be attempted simply because one cocksucking faggot from a board filled with pedophiles, hotheads and big guys thinks it ought to be.
In conclusion, kill yourself, OP.
>I am huge believer that anything can be adapted in any media
This is true. The Silmarillion could EASILY be adapted. The fact is the world is full of plebs and THAT IS WHY IT WOULDN"T WORK, not because The Silmarillion is somehow un-adaptable, people simply don't want it.
>What is Silmarillion about anyway?
Heh. It's about everything which was left out of LOTR and The Hobbit, it's the majesty behind the scenes which you are given a small insight into when reading/watching the story.
It's about a lot, essentially. All accomplished in 300 pages.
