What was the meaning of this movie?
SOMEONE IS STEALING OUR MEMES!
This should have been Luke
But Luke did turn to the dark side
I think I found my new waifu....FEMALE EGON!
Who hyped for FEMALE EGON!
So what are some
dank memeswe can get outta this thing?
Glib facsimile is good, but I also like the idea of
>TAKE OFF THAT MASK
>What do you think you'll see if I do?
>THE FACE OF MY SON
>it's a black guy under the mask
Or something. It had that kind of campy CIA scene delivery /tv/ loves. I'm just not a jokester.
>Was promoted to be a badass female villain
>Kills a few villagers
>Then gets dumped in a trash dump.
So now that the dust has settled, can we agree that this was actually goat?
Just how the fuck did they recover Luke's blue lightsaber?
maz kanata said it was not the time to explain how she got it, 10 minutes after that the whole castle was blown the fuck out lol, btw did she manage to escape? that minion was a cool character
You know, when I first walked out of the cinema after the credits I left feeling pretty satisfied. Then when I looked at some of the criticisms online and thought about the movie some more I pondered on all of its flaws and decided that it was nowhere near as good as it could have been. Then the next day once I let all of the criticism soak in and think about it some more I realised that despite its flaws I still really enjoyed it and wanted to see it again. To me the whole thing is probably a 7.5/10 and I'm looking forward to the subsequent films.
What about you /tv/?
the only bit that really stood out to me as a missed opportunity was having phasma duel finn instead of that random stormtrooper, and having her get wounded instead of killed. would have been a nice way to give her some more screentime and makes sense given her vendetta against him.
i loved kylo ren, the fact that he was hyped up to be intimidating and unstoppable and turned out to be an insecure manchild was great, and the acting was good. the final duel with him hitting his wound to anger himself was neat,...

Why do so many people watch this film and come away with the wrong lessons?
Jerome has every right to the Star Wars universe that you do.
So what about these guys /tv/? Are they all force users, that used to be trained by Luke, but got turned? I hope not, but after seeing TFA, I'm sure JJ and his guys can handle the story, no matter what direction it takes.
And what about Rey's past? The flashback, implied some Abrams-LOST-tier complicated story. We didn't see much, so I think it can get kinda interesting.
What do you think?
theres nothing LOST tier about it at all
Luke was training a bunch of younglings. One youngling falls to the dark side, converts some m8s, who decide to show up to the party with cricket bats and shit and show the light siders how anakin rolls.
Luke flees with Rey, whos probably his daughter and takes a page out of Obiwan's book by dumping her on the nearest desert planet because Kylo will hate sand just like his grand daddy.
