>people are upset at the idea of Ghostbusters performing well at the box office
It doesn't look funny and I don't want to see it, but what's the problem with someone else enjoying it? I don't need to have my taste in film validated by sales figures.
>>71598717
because if its a success it will spawn another 2 movies and Ghostbusters will be raped to death.
retard.
If it makes money were just going to get a sequel and more of these shitty remakes

>I'm queer. I'm gay. I'm homosexual. I'm a poof, I'm a poofter, I'm a ponce. I'm a bumboy, battyboy, backside artist, bugger. I'm bent. I am that arsebandit. I lift those shirts. I'm a faggot-ass, fudge-packing, shit-stabbing uphill gardener. I dine at the downstairs restaurant; I dance at the other end of the ballroom. I'm Moses and the parting of the red cheeks. I fuck and I’m fucked. I suck and I’m sucked. I rim them and wank them, and every single man's had the fucking time of his life.

I think he was making an allegory about Westeros and what he was doing to it.
Really makes you think.................................
We properly cast Lara Croft other than fridge boobs
Her voice actor is actually pretty hot and has no problem with getting crazy naked

Fuck off already
I just saw this movie with my family. I was really excited about it because I really liked the game, and I thought this movie was garbage. It felt like a Chinese knock-off of a real movie.
Did anyone else see this disappointment?
>>71598469
I saw it the day after I saw Zootopia, and I thought it was pretty coincidental that they both open with a father figure give a cheesy speech about how "You really shouldn't chase after your dreams."
>>71598469
Literally all of the aliens in this movie that aren't characters from the established franchise look like they were from Planet 51 or Antz.

Throughout all this Ghostbusters remake hullabaloo, where was the hate train for the remakes of Robocop and Total Recall?
I felt like I was the only one that was truly livid that two classic Verhoeven movies were being tainted with boorishly CGI driven imitators, and still haven't seen either out of protest.
Yet, people were okay with Total Recall (despite the charisma vacuum that is Colin Farrell) and people even LIKED the new Robocop despite it lacking any good satire (A parody of Fox News and Bill O'Reilly? Oh my god this has never been done before!)...

No Biel butt/10
Robocop and Total Recall were ultraviolent adult films that not many kids had formative experiences seeing, so they don't have the same nostalgic value of the family-friendly Ghostbusters films.
>>71598448
People did say those 2 remakes were gonna be shit.
And that was it. Everyone knew they were probably right and didn't see the need to argue with them.
>"They're remaking Robocop with a PG13 rating. It's gonna be shit."
>"Yeah you're probably right."
>"They're remaking Total Recall and they're not even setting it on Mars. It's gonna be shit."Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Anyone watching this kino next Sunday?
Already watched it, also where's wallace
>>71599351
Was it any good? Been thinking about watching it .
I just watched the first episode of this show and came here to post a thread about it.
Why isn't /tv/ talking about The Night Of? I just watched the first episode and it's pure kino. I felt dread, anxiety and a bit of terror for basically two thirds of the episode.
The lead detective, Naz and Turturro are all knocking it out of the park in the acting department.
Is Family Guy's version of this alternate reality accurate?

The ruling class would have found other excuses to keep the majority dumb.

The Star Wars movies are corny as hell and lose all appeal after you turn like 13, but the Indiana Jones trilogy is badass and can be enjoyed at pretty much any age

>What the fuck!?
>They are eating children! Fucking children!
>Fuck me, right?
>Run for your fucking lives!

LOL100% on rottentomatoes
that war scene was pretty cool, but judging from the cast and directors the humor's gonna be pretty bad
The fucks were added in to make sure parents know it's not a children movie
Hotdog buns don't look like that
>Yes, unless Walt Disney pulls off a miracle overseas, Steven Spielberg’s The BFG will be that rarest of things: A Steven Spielberg box office bomb. The $140 million fantasy film, based on a Roald Dahl book, will earn around $22 million over the July 4th holiday.
>Most people will argue that the star-studded and critically-trashed 1941 was Steven Spielberg’s first box office disaster. And while the film did only make $31 million domestic on a $35m budget, it did make $92m worldwide, thus nearly tripling its budget....

Was the actual movie any good? Not memein'
>>71633007
I feel like cinema altogether is dying as a medium when paying attention to the sales this year
only generic and mindless movies make money while the actual thought-provoking ones are "disappointments" or even "disasters"
>the bfg
>the big fucking giant
Who allowed this?
