It's the best movie since Empire
[/spoiler]Tell me why it's shit
It isn't shit, it's just not great. It's a safely made manufactured Disneyfied rehash of ANH. A 7.5/10 film that does not break any boundaries, merely entertains as a casual fan serviced entry into the franchise.
Do they follow a script?
When is it going to be released?
Just binge watched pic related. What did I think of it?
I watched in all in one showing as opposed to attending a few different screenings over the course of a week or two. It's a little boring sitting there for 2 hours but saves a lot of money.
>With just the single-day numbers from Friday and Thursday previews, The Force Awakens has already taken over the all-time December opening weekend record from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey which stood at $84.6 million
>The movie has crossed $250 million worldwide in just 3 days from wednesday to friday
>It is now almost a certainty that The Force Awakens will get the new opening weekend record, with Analysts predicting an opening weekend ranging from $235-307 million

>humor is decent
>makes fun of SJWs
>decently interesting episodes
>MC is cute as fuck
The first couple episodes fell pretty flat but the show is really starting to pick up. Who else thought this was going to be trash but was pleasantly surprised?
I'm surprised by Major.
I thought he'll be a typical chad, but he's actually a real bro
What did this scene symbolize?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA BLUNDER OF CENTURY HAHAHAHAHAHA YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP
If I go to see star wars today. Will ther be big lines?
I live in downtown toronto. Do you think there will be long waits and no seats except uncomfortable front row seats?

Without a doubt.
ITT: Scenes you need explained
Anyone watching anything that's not Star Wars? Saw this last night and loved it - aside from the acting, excellent score, costuming and photography and is a pleb-friendly sub-two-hours.
>Capeshit isn't for patricians they said
>If I release the flick in an unconventional format they might call it a film
TFA ruined the original trilogy.
4, 5 and 6 were about destroying the Empire to free the Galaxy.
What's the point if the Empire is back stronger than ever in the very next movie?
Nothing that happened in the OT matters anymore. Feel free to skip them.
Best Star Wars Moments:
>BB8 thumbs up
>Poe stealing the TIE Fighter with his bro Finn
>Every Chewbacca joke
>"That's not how the Force works!"
>Millennium Falcon reveal
>QUARTER PORTION guy
>qt Rey eating her quarter portion
>Kylo stopping the blaster fire and beheading the guy from the Seventh Seal
>The steps to Luke
Worst Star Wars Moments:
>Retarded and predictable Han death
>"The Death Star was this big... Look how big the new one is! XD"
>"Is there a trash compactor?"
>The lightsaber wiggling in the snow 'homage'
>Kylo being an cringelord by wrecking his own ship
>Rey being a Mary Sue at every problem she encounters
>Poe being an even bigger Mary Sue after his rescue
>R2 being in a coma and Deus Ex Machina-ing at the end
>Pitiful dialogue between Han and Leia
>"I think I can handle myself" girl power!!!1!!!
>The Raid guys being wasted
>Phasma being useless and getting cucked by Finn
Did I miss anything?
You can tell they really fucking struggled to give Leia lines. There's a shot at some point where she's talking to Han and it cuts to a close up of her face for the second half of the line and then cuts back. It's fucking ridiculous and I think I noticed some green-screened puppeteers holding her up.
I don't know if this was just me being picky, but did the blaster sounds feel wrong to anyone else? Like this will sound stupid, but Star Wars guns have always been a "pew pew" sound. But in this movie they had more of a "thunk thunk". And they all sounded exactly the same. Was it just me?
