Well who do you belong to and why?
Star Trek, because it's much more mature and tought provoking, and was socially progressive from the beggining and in a time that mattered
My guess is that JJ borrowed from KotOR and Rey is a parallel to Revan, she was a Knight of Ren that somehow got her memory wiped and got all that shit we saw on her flashback imprinted on her.
post yfw Kylo Ren stops the blaster bolt in mid-air
Was it the most powerful display of the Force in Star Wars canon?
>mfw it happened
What was more impressive was how it seemed he just forgot about it for the rest of the scene, hovering in midair in the background.
So the actuals came in and Star Wars beat Jurassic World's worldwide opening. I'm currently drinking the tears of Jurassic Worldfags. Abatap's tears are next on the menu, boys.
Avaturd Fans's Tears are the next thing in the menu OP, im looking forward to the sandstorm of James Cameron's Whores
Today is Jack Bauer's birthday, let's celebrate by having a comfy 24 thread.
ITT movies target specifically at the Star Wars audience
Whatever happened to movies that invoked wonder and idealism? I saw this film on TBS back in 1998 as a kid and loved it more than Star Wars. The trailers and OST really sell the sense of awe and adventure.
>People keep saying this is good.
>Trying watching first few episodes. It's awful.
Do I have to skip ahead to season 2 or some shit. Does it ever git gud?
Not really, I watched it for the same reason. I guess Darth Maul returning is neat, but he's used even less than in Phantom Menace, so there was no point.
That's why I won't trust anyone on Rebels now.
Daily reminder Han Solo is
he's non-force sensitive he's dead forever. His conciseness is gone and he ceases to exist.
ITT: Things that could ruin the next Star Wars
>Luke turns out to be evil
>Rey is Finns sister
>Boba Fett turns out to be alive or he had a kid or some shit
>Snoke turns out to be an old villain like Maul or Palpatine
>Another carbon copy character from the old movies like another Yoda or Hutt character
>Kylo Ren becomes Darth Ren
Snoke is the same species as Plagius, and possibly *is* Plagius, although that would mean Sheev half-asses his master's assassination. It would explain what looks like a lightsaber wound in Snoke's forehead but he could really just be some force-sensitive prick from the Banking Clan species that found some old Sith manuals or something.
YES!!! Hermione is black now.
Episode VII basically diminishes everything that happened in Episodes IV, V and VI.
That war against the Empire? Meaningless, since the empire is even stronger than before and the rebels are still rebels, just with a different name this time.
Emperor Palpatine is dead? Meaningless. We have the Supreme Leader Snoke now, another sith lord, out of nowhere.
Darth Vader is dead? Meaningless. We have Kylo Ren, who fills the same role.

Life's shit. Get over it.
You don't really think that just because you accomplish something you will live happily ever after do you? Life isn't a fairytale anon. Besides, the OT crew probably had like 20 of relative happiness before things went to shit. That's better than most people.
ittt, we guess the title for episode viii
The First Order Strikes Back
>tfw you weren't a kid for TFA
>instead you got The Phantom menace
