>This is the main villain of the Abram trilogy
First off, they blew their load too early with the reveal.
Second of all, the fact that the main Sith is some scrawny emo kid who's character feels like "wah wah wah daddy didn't love me enough" makes all his scenes feel like temper tantrums and spitting the dummy instead of being intimidating like an SS officer in the original trilogy. Like any sense of intimidation or mystique was lost when this is the face of Kylo Ren, the main villain of the Abram trilogy.
I...

>This is the main villain of the Abram trilogy
Way to be wrong from the first sentence. Kylo will clearly have a redemption arc. Snoke is the main villain.
>>63996737
that's even worse
>>63996737
Vader had a redemption arc and he was still considered the main villain. Like talk to anyone about Star Wars bad guys and Vader is first on the list.
What's your favourite movie that you've literally never seen mentioned on /tv/?

Dead thread?
Can't remember talking about it here or anywhere
Paris, texas.
Disney did the same thing to Star Wars as it did to Tron: Legacy
They took a movie franchise and turned it into a nostalgia fest of no real substance.
When are we going to look back at the lightsaber fight between Kylo and Rey and be awed like we were when Vader and Kenobi fought in episode IV?
What was memorable about the movie?
>>63996320
>and be awed like we were when Vader and Kenobi fought in episode IV
18 year old gee. Did people actually find the original lightsaber duel to be full of awe?
>>63996385
in 1976 they sure as hell did lel

>Implying Tron was better than Tron Legacy?
I liked Force Awakens as well.
Anyone else annoyed that there was nothing new introduced in TFA?
One of the coolest things about the original trilogy is that each movie had cool new locations and creatures and didn't really retread on them.
Star Wars had Tatooine, Jawas and Sand People (and technically the whole universe).
The Empire Strikes Back had Hoth, Wampas, Dagobah and Cloud City.
Return of the Jedi had Jabba the Hutt, the Rancor, the Sarlacc, Endor and Ewoks
What was new in TFA? We got another sand planet that really had nothing on it, we had a new forest planet...

I think it's weird that they're in another part of the galaxy that has very similar fucking planets to the ones we know, NotTatoonie, NotEndor, NotHoth, and we saw NotCoruscant get destroyed with the Starkiller weapon
You realize it mainly a rehash thrown together to get the oldfags in the theater right?
Why do you think they brought back grandpa solo?
There was dozens of new cool looking puppet aliens in Maz's caste though.
>just saw The Force Awakens
>immediately go home and go on /tv/
>99% of the threads here are shitting on it
It was fucking amazing. A little nostalgia baity, sure. But if didn't smile when you Han for the first time, you aren't human.
>>63996140
How do you Han?
wow another thread saying you liked it
so original and quippy, just like a jj abrams character
you sure showed us you rebel
>>63996161
Why did he not just bite Samuel L. Jackson's dick off and steal his shit of his bleeding out body.
Because it never happened. He was just making shit up to get the old general to pick up the gun so he could murder him.
What's the context of this scene? And I know about the blanket but what about the meaning? Are we supposed to root for Jackson's character because he's humiliating the "evil" general's son?
>>63996087
Because that would undermine Tarantino's cuck fantasy.
It seems like Netflix junkies will happily consume whatever shit is thrown at them now
>10% formulaic story telling
>90% episode filler
Why are these Marvel soap operas rated among great shows like Breaking Bad, GoT and Dexter?
reported. this thread has nothing to do with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Stay off this board if you aren't going to discuss Disney's new blockbuster.

>GoT great

It was ok, move on. 7/10

The only reason she outmaneuvered the tie fighters is because she knew the ship graveyard really well.
She fixed the ship because solo hasn't had it for a while and the fat dude added parts to it that she knew about.
No. All she did was the jedi mind trick and a force pull. The mind trick was retarded pandering though.
Same trained swordsman just got shot in the leg by a wookie bowcaster that had previously been shown to knock troopers off their feet into the air doing a backflip. When she...

She was maybe trained until the age of 5 , then put on a tatouine like planet , how can a 5 years training or more like 0 years training can be relevant ?
Do not tell me she learned something about the force at age 5 .

psst.
over hereRLM liked this film so we're defending it now, especially Rey

I've never understood the praise he gets. Mostly teenagers glorifying excessive violence I guess.
Did anyone actually enjoy this?
It is mediocre af
>>63995869
3.9/10 to be honest

The making of the best new character from the movie.
Spin off when?

>>63995358
leave your cave once in a while, jesus
No screener but the cam is one of the better cams and for the most part watchable. Just the dark areas suck shit as you would expect but luckily those only happen when there are bright lasers flying about with bright white stormtroopers or when there are lightsabers on screen, so you can actually see
