What's your favorite creature feature /tv/?
If the Death Star can use its tractor beams on a ship as small as the Millennium Falcon from such long range, why can't it do that to all the Rebel fighters when they attack the Death Star? The Falcon isn't all that much bigger than a starfighter, pic related.
Same reason you can fly under the radar.
If the Falcon is far away from the Deathstar, the hanger tractor beams can get them. When a bunch of some of the fastest one man fighters aren't even 100m above your surface and no where near your hangar bays you can't get a clear line of sight on them.
Can someone explain the first order to me?
I thought rebels won in the previous 3 movies
then suddenly we have again them fighting from the position of guerrillas against well organized fascist huge regime.
I just... it really is not making sense to me
>tfw this dog is probably dead by now
Seeing has Ewan is one of the best things ever to come out those Star Wars™ movies.
You are now in charge of writing a Obi-Wan trilogy.
How would you approach this, and between which episodes would you place them?
Also pick a director while you're at it
I'm the biggest contrarian here.
I live in Manchester near something called Media City (other Brits will know). There also a university where most people working for the BBC in the North usually get their formal training.
I have a degree in English and I want to work for the BBC, but I don't know how to get myself in there. I don't even know what career paths are there other than writer, producer and technical staff (camera men, sound engineers, etc.) I would like to do something related to my degree even if I have to take an MA at that uni.
Actors who are familiar to you but you would have to google their name.
probably "gabe from the office"
pic related, i'm sure he has a name but he's always just "red forman" to me and "also he was on an episode of star trek too wasn't he?"
TFA beating Avatar would be a travesty and you all know it.
Its more than just a helmet. It has the voice thingy and I would guess scanners or some shit in the visor.
So it would probably be part they needed to make space for, or possible a vent.
But really, its just to look cooler.
What's the best found footage film you're ever seen?
So now that the showrunner has literally said the entire season was a metaphor for Gamer Gate how do you feel about Jessica Jones?
>mfw I just realized I only ever liked star wars because of the scores and video games
"There has been an awakening."
"An awakening, sir?"
"Yes. The Force Awakens in IMAX 3D!"
Really? How the hell do they get away with this shit?
I'm watching it for free online right now and let me tell you I'm glad I didn't pay. This shit is boring as fuck. I watched about 2 minutes in the beginning and literally said "BORING" out loud and skipped to about 20 minutes in where I'm at right now.
At least something it fucking happening now, they're stealing a tie-fighter or some shit. It's still boring as fuck, lacks the feeling the older movies had. Ugh.
