What does /tv/ think of reality shows like Geordie Shore and Keeping up with the Kardashians?
>>64318088
that's sexy as hell
it's an exercise in normalizing capitalistic consumer ideology. Have you ever met anyone that actually watches these things? They are all status hungry as fuck; their goals are in-line with buying things not achieving happiness by whatever means. If you have a population of people whose lives will amount to a lot of nothing you build something which they can easily strive for that lines your pockets. Fleeting happiness through consumerism is the foundation of almost every holiday. These people are pin-up models for happiness through excessive wealth and garbage
It's fine.
Ok, after reading a lot of threads and people complaining about the fact that Yoda jumps like a retard with a dick sized Lightsaber(i don't think Sheev has any flaws but let's throw him into this)
How do you think these two could fight in the movies? using the force only and no lightsaber? That would require some new force powers, anyone got a few ideas?
>>64318064
>>64318064
All Sheev needs is Force Spin.
If Sheev can spin and jump and fight with a saber and shit, why couldn't he do anything when Vader picked him up and walked him over to a pit and tossed him over? That shit took like 15 seconds.
Who is the worst critic in the world? Armond? Stuckman? Non-conformists might even say Ebert. I nominate Dave Nusair. He's a total pleb who has somehow gotten onto Rotten Tomatoes. His site is http://reelfilm.com/index.htm. He's given 2/4 reviews to Lawrence of Arabia, Duck Soup, and Vertigo. He's reviewed to Jean-Luc Godard films and given them both zero stars. Also if you read his website, count how many times he uses the phrase "piece of work". It's astounding.
Fuck off David
>He's reviewed to Jean-Luc Godard films and given them both zero stars
I've only seen Two or Three Things. There's no way you faggots can think that was a good film.
Extreme contrarianism for the sake of extreme contrarianism garners attention.
How would you fix Season 2?

More cancerfu, less everyone else. Black man dequirked.

By leaving the movie be.
chubbier dunst
The creator of the legendary Star Wars films said that he has 'assiduously' avoided the internet for 15 years. In a recent interview, George Lucas, 71, told The Washington Post that since 2000 he has stayed off of Facebook, Twitter and even email. The writer-director has done this partly so that he does not have to read 'the worst about himself and his movies', according to the website.
It was in the special edition version of the 1977 film where Greedo shoots Han Solo first instead in which 'deeply offended fans' saw this as a 'sacrilege,'...

What an insecure faggot. The guy is a billionaire, he should have thicker skin than that.
now he's bitching about not having control over the franchise he sold
>George Lucas immunizes himself to different opinions
You don't say
How can you tolerate being a Star Wars fan? There's so much faggotry and refusal to acknowledge going on.
to really accept anything fanatically you have to acknowledge the bad, because not doing so makes justifying the good.
I love the prequels. They're funny, and odd and very distinct but I'd never convince someone to watch them based on some ephemeral "critical goodness". In more ways than they are not, they are very bad movies, but I still love them.
I like George Lucas. He's an idealistic, creative guy and also kind of an ass-backwards soft spoken autistic dweeb. Calling Disney 'White Slavers' is fucking crazy when you think...

Can you give a tl;dr? I don't feel like reading this.
>>64318065
TFA is definitely carefully manufactured, but it's a well-made film with heartfelt performances from the actors and character interaction that feels organic, which is far more than I can say for the prequels, no matter how "distinct" and "full of artistic integrity" they are.
We're keepers of the peace, not soldiers.

Deadpool is a film genetically engineerd to appeal to imdbspawn /v/edditors with no sense of sophisication who laud meme dialog, which supports upvote groupthink mentality, and meme acting with a good movie pandering reddit tier meta capeshit "entertainment" sensibilities and a meme tv movie aesthetic. This is a flick at best and will rightfully ruin ryan reynolds career.

>WASHINGTON, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Two writers are suing director Quentin Tarantino for allegedly infringing on the copyright of a screenplay they say ultimately became Django Unchained.
>Filed Dec. 24 in Washington, D.C., the lawsuit also names The Weinstein Company and Columbia Pictures as defendants.
>Oscar Colvin, Jr. and his son Torrance Colvin claim their screenplay, Freedom, is eerily similar to the Oscar-winning 2012 film starring Jaime Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio,...

They owed the screenplay ideas to Tarantino anyhow because of reparations. Maybe they didn't hear that Quentin's mom fucked a lot of niggers, so he's an honorary dindu himself?

Tarantino can do whatever the fuck he wants, he's a treasure to the planet. I'd let him nibble my toes.

Book was better but damned if they didn't do a respectable job. Book was great, actually.
Is this not the most blatantly biased piece of shit flick ever made?
>>64316985
Fuck off Courtney
Sad thing most people that watch documentaries think they're educated because they're watching documentaries, every one of them has a bias and most people aren't smart enough to see the holes in the presentations.
>>64316985
Of course it is. Tom Grant hasn't changed his story. He began releasing his tapes of kourtney to a local radio show years ago. Then was interviewed in kurt and courtney. Now there is a movie dedicated to his side of the story.
He's been literally trying to tell people this since. Now that netflix picked it up it gets to be critiqued by an emaciated neck beard who just saw montage of heck before it and can't understand why anybody would say these mean things.
Best case scenario...
