>>64350181
Couldn't agree more but otherwise I can't think of anything to contribute to this thread.
>>64350181
Let it goy
>>64350181
Because Disney's smart.
They knew the gay Glee-worshippers would see it ten times each for the sing-along, and they knew the 5-year-olds would do the same.
And they were right.
In the process they kept it from being as good as it could have been by that musical shit, but hey they made fuckloads of shekels.
It's no wonder that this already shit board is filled with star shit now because you never had taste to start with, since you faggot hipster betas consider this the pinnacle of sophistication
It is fake snobbish wankery and it easily confuses retards like you into thinking you're watching or learning about something that has real culture but you're still just americunt trash
the whole film is actually both a satire and tribute of bad european writing
>>64349893
Wes Anderson's only real film
>>64349966
Duh captain obvious, but its precisely that that makes people think they are somehow in on some highbrow joke when it's all a load of wank
>orcs

>giving a shit about their offspring
>>64349871

Hey there fa/tv/irgins, how do I into Terrence Malick? With "Knight of Cups" available now, it's incentive enough for me to stop putting it off and actually start watching his films. I'm pretty sure I saw "The Thin Red Line" when I was a kid, but I don't really remember it.
So, where is a good place to begin? I was thinking of starting with "The Thin Red Line", then retty much going in chronological order. But looking at his filmography, I see there are quite a few films which he wrote but did not direct. So I was going to...

Thin Red Line is a pretty good place to start. It applies Malick's unique style to an engaging story in a "familiar" genre. You'd find things to like here, even if you end up hating Malick's style.
Badlands is a good movie, but not really a great indication of Malick's style.
Love it or hate it, Tree of Life is his "masterpiece," and the purest example of what Malick is trying to do as a filmmaker.
Days of Heaven is just great, and this would be a good place to start, too.
The New World is very good, and To...

Badlands
Thin Red Line
The New World
Days Of Heaven
Tree Of Life
Watch Knight Of Cups baked on some high grade shit or drunk.

>So, where is a good place to begin?
At the beginning.
Chronological order to follow his evolution. He started as a mainstream filmmaker then started experimenting more and more with editing, scriptless improv, removing narrative, etc. with may or may not alienate you at some point. There is also a dialog between all of his flicks and a lot of repetitive elements, like a musician playing the same song but with variations.
Now, begin.
>Star Wars prequels are amazing
>The Inbetweeners is funny
>Breaking Bad is shit
>Game of Thrones is trash
>The Wire is Reddit
>Peep Show is still good after series 4
>The Sopranos best seasons were 1 and 2
>Baneposting is still hilarious and not repetitive or run into the ground at all
Fuck this board.
>>64349203
>Rick and Morty is bad
#bye

>The US Office is better than the UK one because the US is fun and happy whereas the UK is just a bunch of depressing Britbongs being miserable
That's one of my favourites right there. Top kek, fucking Americans.
>do or do not, nathan, there is no try
what the fuck did he mean by this?
>>64349096
le funneh maymay XDDDD
Is Cruise supposed to be Asian in this movie?
it's a yoda quote there is no meaning
>"I know *cough cough* I'll try spinning, that's a good trick."
Why didn't spinning work for him? Is Grevious just that shit?
Also didn't Obi Wan Jump down from the High ground in this scene? What's going on???
>>64349252
Grievous isn't a force user. He's an alien race that is successful at using lightsabers because he can react much quicker than almost any other race.
That's why he never uses any force pushes or anything in the movies.
I felt like grievous was an intentional fuck you to the audience taking the prequel lightsaber combat to it's logical absurd extreme
>Film booed out of Berlin.
>5/10 score on rottentomatoes
>Critics hated it.
>Film ends up being a game changing masterpiece.
>Malick is solidly the American Tarkovsky.
someone just tell me...why are the critics getting so dumb? is it the millennials?
>>64349010
You just have shit taste.
>>64349010
>Malick is solidly the American Tarkovsky.

Is there a way to contact the seeders of a torrent? I don't mean getting their home address like Sony / Time Warner / the FBI do when they subpoena your ISP. Just to say thank-you for seeding a rare torrent.
That's what comments are for.
>>64348648
you reply to them in the comments section, moron
