Would this film still being great if Tyler was actually a real person?
But he was, anon.
>>64548347
Rooney, pls.
>>64548172
Of course, what matters is that he's cool and teached me how to live.
Watching the first episode. Feels boring. Are there any ayylmaos in it at least?
>>64548132
episode 4 will literally blow your mind
After I watched first four I realized it's worthwhile.
can you imagine if 2001 space odyssey was released today
reddit would walk out in the first 10 mins because of
>muh boring
>The prequels were shit! PlebRedditMedia told me so! Watch this 3 hour long autistic nitpicking Plunkett review that doesn't have any arguments of substance as proof they suck! I need people to form opinions for me because at the end of the day I'm a mouthbreathing retard!
When are redditors going to stop with this bullshit argument? You can literally make the same overly long autistic review nitpicking everything about the original trilogy to explain why they're shit. Hell you can do that about any fucking movie and reddit...

The prequels were overall bland and poorly acted.
Pod Racing was pretty gangster though.
I know, right? I just marathoned RotS with my wife and her son and he simply adored the movie.
They are entertaining films, and that's mostly just because of the visuals.
The prequels have some pretty bad acting and dialogue
ITT: Highly overrated movies.
It's a good movie and was received as such.
>>64547725
I really want to redub the audio tothis and call it pooper and instead of killing he makes them watch as he takes a shit.
>>64547725
it's universally received as a 4/5 promising but doesn't live up to its potential. It's perfectly rated
How does it make you feel?
>>64547721
Boring
>>64547721
le Reddit so coop facts
>>64547721
He was a spy for the Nationalists not the Communists so it's all good.
In what concerns characters as comic relief, how is C-3PO any differently obnoxious compared to Jar Jar Binks?it isn't
>>64547416 one was well executed and was played by a competent actor
>>64547673
You are literally autistic. C-3PO was ACTUAL comic relief.
Jar Jar was there for fart jokes. He was fucking annoying more than anything.
'Hey look, this character is meant to be funny, and so is this other character, therefore they're exactly the same and share the same standard of comedy. Now I'm going to try to sound smart by saying 'In what concerns' but then fuck up my grammar for the rest of the message and therefore revealing that I have downs syndrome''.

>The Hollywood Reporter has now confirmed the self-congratulatory project, starring Tim Roth as controversial outgoing president Sepp Blatter, scored the puniest total of all time in North America. With a final weekend return of just $918 from 10 cinemas, Frederic Auburtin’s £17m drama - Fifa paid most of the costs - lines up ahead of such titans of modern cinema as 2012 vampire rock musical I Kissed a Vampire ($1,380) and 2013 animated adventure Last Flight of the Champion ($1,493).Comment too long. I'd wager he has some variety of walking clock in that box
>>64547390
Bart is it a walking clock?
You'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel.
>>64547338
Hard to say, but I think TPM have had higher hype among fans and big expectations to become another cult, iconic milestone, while TFA generated much wider hype, but without expectations to change it's generation's lives.
TFA imo
TPM because of thelarger wait period and nothing inbetween like Clone wars and decent Vidyas not to mention people thought it was the best thing ever when it came out
Anyone else think hating Jar Jar is just a dumb meme?
He wasn't any worse than 3CPO, they both added much needed comic relief to their respective movies, something Episode 7 lacked.
bump, need patrician opinions here
>>64547179
He is a sith lord that was scrapped.
>>64547179
Jar Jar is a victim of excessive, unjust hate.

Is Netflix going to instigate a new golden age of capeshit?
>>64546732
Not Jessica Jones though that shit is horrendous purely because the main character is the worst thing about that show...
>Still no news on a It's Patsy spin-off
Why live?
>>64546764
Nah.
Explain to me how being one meter above your enemy means you already achieved victory.

I know I am analyzing a movie with magic priests fighting with light swords, but the retardation of the fights is astounding.
Just like the High Ground battle ("IMA JUST JUMP ABOVE A JEDI MASTER FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER. I WON'T EVEN TRY TO KILL HIM AS I AM RIGHT ABOVE HIM. NAH I'LL JUST TRY AND LAND BEHIND HIM, AND HOPEFULLY HE'LL LET ME REGAIN MY COMPOSTURE BEFORE WE CONTINUE THIS OVERCHOREOGRAPHED FIGHT), the duels are absolutely stupid
just going to add another example

>be a kid and see star wars for the first time on vhs
>dad tells me that in an interview when the movie first came out, Lucas said that Anakin and Obi Wan had a knock down, drag out fight on top of a volcano, and that Obi Wan threw him in at the end
>be hyped as fuck years later when the fight finally happens
>he slides down a hill and gets a little toasty
When even your father who saw the original in a theater is disappointed, you know you've fucked up.
Why does /tv/ think The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissous is Wes Anderson's best film?
it'S his best film
Is it because /tv/ is contrarian and only like it because a lot of people consider it his worst?
it's a solid film
