last time he tried that he ballooned up to 300lbs and trashed two vegas hotel rooms.
Maybe his drug was killing innocent people.
What does Tarantino mean when he says digital projection is the death of cinema and that it's basically like TV in public? What are the cons of digital projection?
Are there actual perceptual differences that make it inferior or is he being a luddite?
he is literally autistic, change disturbs him
He's just a faggot, jesus christ he's so tiresome with his fucking obsessions with feet, black dick and 70mm/film vs digital.
>watching the round table with Ridley Scott, Inarittu, Boyle, Tarantino and the others
>the first thing tarantino says is literally "hurr cinema is dead it died with digital people don't go to pay shitload of money to watch my shitty flicks"

>In his deposition, obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, Darabont talks about the early days of the show, saying that despite the massive ratings success of Walking Dead, AMC created budget problems for the series.
>Darabont says, "I remember Joel Stillerman [president of original programming and development for AMC], in a meeting in my office, when we were all discussing the issues of the upcoming season, we said to him, 'Surely that the success of the show, which, by the way, you guys are bragging about because...

>In the deposition, he is particularly harsh on AMC executives.
>"When they did rarely show up on the [Georgia-based] set, [they] would ... drive in from the airport in their air conditioned car, race into the air conditioned tent we had there so the actors could have a break and not pass out from the heat, poke their heads out on occasion, and half an hour later jump back in their car and fly back to their air conditioned office in New York. I had a tremendous lack of respect for them."Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

Well there's your main problem.
>Later, Fitzgerald apparently denied having the conversation.
>Darabont said her denial floored him.
>"So, she out and out just lied to my face in front of everybody," he testified. "I can prove that because after the meeting I went back to the editing room to tell my editor to finish up a few things there that day anyway that needed finishing and to tell my editor what had happened."

series premiere of Women, 2018
Would anyone be interested in seeing a very accurate potrayal of Genesis, and the life of Christ. My vision is to show "The Word" (hence picture), creation, the spiritual realm creating the physical. The fall of Lucifer and the war in Heaven and the life of Yeshua all subtitled in a divine language, Aramaic and Hebrew. Sorting out the Act structure currently. Ending is done.
I think a realistic portrayal of the life of the historical Jesus would be awesome, but that's not what you're talking about.

I'd rather see the Silmarillion
It actually is. It would have a length prologue though. My idea for the Seraphim is as follows. My vision for Christ is him with his hair tied back, longish beard, very Middle-Eastern/Jewish looking, even a Jewish actor.

nah. Joan and Peggy are much better. Most of Don's mistresses are better than Betty

A 10/10 in terms of looks and a great character in her own right but precisely because she ISN'T alluring, charismatic, or enticing apart from in pic related
In the grand scheme of Mad women; Joan, Rachel Menken, Sylvia and Faye all come first.

At first you think it will depict Native Americans honestly.
But nope...noble savage shit again.
You are in for lots of painful groans and nice scenery.

What went wrong?
2.8 billion, and no franchise. No fanbase. Nada.
Fun director: James Cameron.
Creature design: Wayne Barlowe.
How could it be so culturally ephemeral?

its tech was all that it had going for it +bh
3D doubled ticket costs, it wasn't as popular as it seems
majority of fans were from the 2nd and 3rd world eg abatap
>>64557756
Didn't stick around. In the franchise dominated flickscape, only sequels and spin offs can make it in the public memory. Stand alones have to be incredibly memorable and this one just wasn't. I liked it but only ever saw it three times (3D, 2D theater, DVD) to gauge how good it really was. Nothing really memorable. Yeah, bitch about quips all day but a memorable line keeps people talking.

i didn't know hollywood lurks here to make movies based on memes

TDKR was paradoxically inspired by the meme it created, when Nolan travelled forwards in time using a black hole, thereby inspiring him to create Interstellar soon after.

What's the point of even visiting this board? Literally every fun thread is shut down in a matter of minutes.

My feels were not ready for this film ;..;.

Enjoyable film. The book was pretty good as well.
Relentlessly inauthentic. I understand that the film is about an insufferable character denying his own identity, but that doesn't mean the film can't have its own identity, consistently and unironically. By my count the film contained two genuine moments: Earl talking to Rachel like a human being, free of Greg's sarcasm and cultural references; and Greg's mom watching him leave for prom.
I cried like a little bitch. My poor sickfu...
His movie at the end was pure trash tho.
