Film prod question. If you had a single apartment and 0 actors, what kind of movie would you make? Keep in mind it still has to have a camera work, it can't be animation or static footage. Does anybody have some idea what could be interesting to watch in an empty apartment? I've been thinking about changing the room during time and tell the story of a person while he is outside and how his life has been changing during a certain period etc. Are there any movies that made something similar?
So what does /tv/ think of Oscar-bait: The Actor?
I watches this movie a few days ago. What do you guys think about it?
Literally the worst of the "new French horror" wave.
Pleb taste desu
What did he mean by this ?
In my opinion Prometheus was better.
Is anyone with me?
I would never compare them because Prometheus is more planet-side shit in an established universe and Interstellar is more space-time fuckery.
Judging them purely visually, I'd go Prometheus.
ITT: movies that peak in their first 2 minutes
The most accurate adaptation of a 200 year old book is set hundreds of years in the future and features blue space pirates. And it's an anime.
How the fuck did this happen?
Hollywood always sanitizes the Count of Monte Cristo.
The idea of a legitimately sadistic protagonist who owns a slave girl and uses drugs is just too controversial for the studio execs, so they make him more of an unambiguous hero and lose a lot of what made the character interesting.
Reminder that the voices you know Gilbert Gottfried, Larry the Cable Guy and Cheech by aren't their real voices
Groundbreaking theory incoming, Get ready. Rey is Obi-Wans granddaughter and Luke's daughter. Boom. Just did that. So Luke's sabre got all up in obi'wans daughter. Luke dropped reh off on Jeku wiped her memory and bolted. Kylo never knew Luke got freaky or had a daughter no one did. Oh snap. Super powerful girl. Meta chlorians coming out of every orifice.
Someone archive me already
>hating the Star Wars prequels
daily reminder that this is literally the most Reddit thing you could do. Big Bang Theory even have a huge hard on, about hating the prequels
How did they film this?!
Why didn't the Jedi ever just make a list of all the races their mind tricks don't work on?
Seems like that would come in handy.
Probably also save them a lot of unnecessary embarrassment.
I think we all can agree.
What would the difference between a film and movie even be here? They are both shot on film so really it is just semantics considering film and movie are synonymous in the modern age of cinema.
Cinema is the place you go to in order to watch movies.
Kino is the word for cinema in various European countries.
Stop using these 2 words to describe movies. You're literally comparing them to buildings.
Are there any Indian actors in Western film industry that don't play the roll of stereotypical Indian migrant?
Comedians don't count, ever.
Why is Bollywood so big in India, but migrants never bother to even attempt to crack the industry in the West?
>Nobody knows their fathers
>Stereotypical jobs like black priest, criminal and janitor
Why is Star Wars so racist?
