DAMMIT DANNY GET ME TO A GODDAMN PLANEEE
HE DIDN'T FLY SO GOOD
>>64635611
isn't this the one where the guy gets literally cucked?
Who should play the ole Chapo?
Benicio del Toro? He might be my top pick. Antonio Banderas might be my second favorite Mexican. I think Oscar Isaacs would do a bang up job. George Lopez could possibly do it if they wanted to go a lighter route (black comedy, anyone?)
Who should be the detective chasing him down, always on his tale? Jon Hamm perhaps? Kevin Costner? The man who played Walter White on Breaking Bad? I say Scarlet Johansson as the detective's bossy sidekick.
Your input would be much appreciated.
Steven Seagal
Danny Trejo

Favorite Disney film? Mine is Tarzan.
That Jane is one hot piece of ace!
>>64635032
I think either Natalie Dormer or Anne Hathaway would make a really great live action Jane.
>>64635007
The Jungle Book is my favorite movie of all time, well, that and Akira.
>tfw we're seeing the end of overproduced silver screen capeshit
>tfw we're seeing the beginning of overproduced silver screen spaceshit
>>64635050
Damn, that is pretty fucking entertaining
>>64635050
how do they make the hat float?
HOW?
>How Ebert taught us to discuss movies:
>1. Thumbs up, or thumbs down; is it good or bad?
>2. If you want to go further in depth, give a summary outline of the plot.
>3. Finally, for ultimate Ebert patrician status, apply your mores to the overall theme of the film.
>>64634989
>oh hey ebert
>>64634989
>>2. If you want to go further in depth, give a summary outline of the plot.
I actually agree with that. In fact, I think the only possible cinema criticism can exist amongst people who already have seen the film. Anything else is plebby "should I spend $10 to see this" reasoning.
99% of critics are worthless parasites
Empire Strikes back has the best ending of the OT and maybe the PT . The music and the feeling of despair and loss but knowing there's a light of hope, makes everything okay...

Though I really wish they didn't shoehorn the credits theme in like that. you can tell it was forced and williams said "fuck I need to get up 2 keys in 10 seconds"

>Empire Strikes back has the best ending of the OT and maybe the PT
I thought this wasn't even debatable desu
>>64634899
I like the subtly ominous atmosphere in TPM, but this one is probably the best. It's cool how they're actually outside the galaxy.
>>64634899
>you can tell it was forced and williams said "fuck I need to get up 2 keys in 10 seconds"
No you fucking retard, if he didn't want the modulation there he would've just transposed the theme, or written the first part in the same key. Modulation is something true composers don't even have to think about to use, it's not hard to do, and you use it intuitively the same way you use a typical cadence. It's there because that's how it came out of him.
Will you buy an Oculus Rift to watch films on?

>>64634848
I`m gonna buy it to fap to VR porn desu.
>>64634848
kek richfags can buy the first one which will be full of bugs anyway. I'll wait for the next version which will be cheaper and more stable.
>>64634848
As long as there's an option to just watch the fucking movie with disabled head tracking.
Why would I want to simulate sitting in a fucking empty theatre 100 feet from the actual fucking movie?
Yes I'm mad.
>you will never meet a woman who likes this film
life sucks, sometimes
>>64634817
women am i right?
it's hard to find men who like this film
>>64635346
just because the film requires critical thought to fully be appreciated, doesnt mean its not worthy of a large following. you could say the same thing about 2001
What went right?
>>64634403
Made me clap
we need a starshit board like /mlp/ and /vp/
>>64635613
this desu senpai
should Luke have gotten closer to the dark side? would his ultimate rejection of it had had more meaning if we had more than Luke wearing black, force choking a Gamerron, and getting angry after Vader threatens Leia? Luke's character arc is the best in the series, but should it have been made stronger?
>>64634381
Yes.
Revenge of the Jedi
>>64634381
I honestly had no idea that Luke was even close to joining the dark side the first time I saw the film, so yes.
So theres literally nothing to watch right now
