Anything related to Star Wars
>frame freezes
why do people like this dark depressing satanic movie?
>depressing
Nothing depressing about. This film is masculine as fuck. I wouldn't expect a woman like you to understand.
Man pulling himself up by his bootstraps
Man contends with nature and wins
Man gets revenge on another man
Man gets to kill another man, the most masculine of acts
Nothing depressing about it.
I don't ever come to /tv/ but what's the general consensus on this film?
I really didn't think it was that great. There's good aspects to it but overall it's just an action flick with a predictable outcome.
What are the benefits of watching films on a projector?

Portable way of watching movies on a ''big'' screen.

Can we all agree that he was the mosthatefulof the eight? He was pure calculating evil.
he was a pure meme-character played by a pure meme-actor, just like tarantulla is a pure meme-director.
thats pretty racist, dude

Agreed.
Interestingly enough the sheriff was the only character with something resembling morals. He was probably closest thing to a good guy.
In a way they were polar opposites.
Why didn't he reveal the truth?

Does /tv/ like All You Need Is Kill?
Is it better than Edge of Tomorrow?
Yes. It does a better job in most regards. The part just after the opening of the story is a little meh but besides that it is good.
The novel does some things better, like fleshing out the charactera more and how the end is done, but the apathy portayed by Cruise's character is not as well done in the novel.

From what I read from the manga it stank of typical Japanese tropes.
The movie removed and changed so many things that only the core concept carried over.
Is George Lucas a better director than Tarkovski?
Of course.
I'd rather watch his films.
All kino beside his 70s flicks
How is this not entrapment?
that nigger never sent me my kickstarter mug
>>64715700
I've studied Law (as part of a Journalism degree) part of it included learning about Entrapment and the media.
2 defences exist. "Subjective" and "Objective".
To use the subjective defence the perp must prove they wouldn't have done the crime without my encouragement.
To use the objective test the court would have to decide if my behaviour would have forced the normal law abiding citizen to commit the crime.
I don't think anyone on this show would pass...

Depending on some states, just chatting with a minor is an offense, and sending nudes or pornography can be an offense. Showing up to the house with condoms and etc shows intent. So they are being arrested for those crimes. The Chris Hansen part is just for the show. They were already in trouble before they arrived.
Awful films /tv/ tricked you into giving an undeserved chance.
Watched that just this morning. Was a fairly average movie with some interesting imagery at times, but the script was just awful.
>>64716315
There were admittedly some good visuals, but then those same good visuals would be repeated over and over again. And yeah, the script is so bad that I would point to this movie as an example of what a visual rough draft looks like, and to avoid it.
>>64715665
I wasn't that pissed off at BTBR, it was a low budget film with a dull script but the visuals made it watchable.
Now this crap...
Leonardo diCaprio is a fucking hack
He should have been SKIN AND BONES during this scene, but of course Leo didn't feel like going that far.
If that were Christian Bale he'd be a zombie, which would have worked.
Leo doesn't deserve shit.
>>64715637
That's why Bale has an Oscar and Leo doesn't
>>64715723
yup.
my buddy, after the movie, was like "so will he finally get the oscar?!" and I flipped my lid.
>>64715637
You actually make a good point.
He was starving, wandering by himself for weeks. Fighting infection & fever. He should have lost 30 lbs along the way.
