DIS ESSSS..... UNEMPLOYMENT
So what's the verdict on his job hosting the oscars?
I've got the feeling guys like Chris Rock make racism worse. Only people who take his points seriously aren't racist anyway.
He's a pro and funny. He is also a closet friend-of-Abe, even though he obviously supports Obama.
>WE NEED BLACK ACTORS
>films start to feature only black people doing black stuff e.g. crime and fucking up their own homelands

my sides. you simpletons will suck the cocks of anything as long as it's new, won't you? because that's literally the only thing the show has going for it. the show's in my roster because i love that era but it's done nothing to set itself apart in a meaningful way.
>destiny
>not all
has really no one watched it?
>>66568497
Well, so far its better than vikings season 1 and the latest season of got for sure (minus hardhome)
What practical use is a pair of huge glowing eyes? Isn't Batman all about stealth and mystery, which I'm guessing would be pretty hard if any goon can spot your eyes from ten blocks away. Does night vision really require installing headlights into your fucking face?
According to an inside source, Affleck inisted on them to represent the light that radiates from inside once one has submitted to Islam, masha'allah.

Why would you wear the armor for stealth?
James Gunn:
>"After every movie smashes records people here in Hollywood love to throw out the definitive reasons why the movie was a hit. I saw it happen with Guardians. It "wasn't afraid to be fun" or it "was colorful and funny" etc etc etc. And next thing I know I hear of a hundred film projects being set up "like Guardians," and I start seeing dozens of trailers exactly like the Guardians trailer with a big pop song and a bunch of quips. Ugh.

Deadpool and GOTG were both quippy shit. They just weren't Whedonquips but that doesn't mean they weren't atrociously written trash
This movie is incredible. Seriously why did critics hate such a fun film?
Let's discuss Van Helsing /tv/

Is there a bigger lead cuck?
Damon was most definitely not better than him in the Departed

Ok then Walhberg, Sheen, Baldwn

I don't compare any of the potc sequels to the original, it's just too high above any of them and completely different. I do like the other movies a lot though. For me its:
>Dead Man's Chest- just an awesome movie. A lot of people hated it and thought it was too convoluted and hard to understand, but I think you'd have to be retarded to not be able to follow it. It had a lot of atmosphere leading up to Davy Jones, cool special effects, and a lot of Disney fun. Out of all of them, this one felt the most like a theme park ride...

I like 2&3, though they're not close to the first ofc.
Hate, and I mean absolutely hate On Stranger Tides
Dead Man's Chest - 9/10 - the only problem is "to be continued" ending
At World's End - 4/10 - filled with cliches, Davy Jones degrades from possibly the best character to little bitch.
On Stranger Tides - 0/10 - I refuse to call this shit potc
>>66566094
The same director made the first 3, and tried really hard to make 2&3 these big sweeping epics, but didn't quite pull it off. Everything to do with Davey Jones was boring and pointless, Will wasn't an interesting enough character for me to give a shit. His arc was over at the end of the first movie.
I'd rewatch the first movie anytime, 2&3 were worth watching once but never again, 4 wasn't worth watching at all. They recognize they want to make more Pirates movies and don't...

Been watching all of Star Trek in order for the first time. Just got to this episode.
Hit me fuckin hard. I cried. Is this the best episode of TNG?
>>66565630
What episode senpai? I watched them all ages ago and don't remember specifics.
It's a pretty important episode for Picard's character development but most people like TBOBW better I think
>>66565630
It's up there. It's in most people's top 5 for sure.
>>66565671
The Inner Light
Netflix has a lot of standup. Some of it is based (pic related) some of it is shit (Aziz Ansari)

>Anywhere not in your pocket. Where it'll get mixed in with the others and become just a coin. Which it is.
What did he mean by this?
>>66564631
He meant that it's a memento, a keepsake of their interaction. It's just a coin, but what is more important is the memory that's attached to the coin, which would be lost is it mingled with his pocket-change and became indistinguishable from the others.
Alternatively he's as crazy as a shithouse rat, and it means nothing outside of his own warped mind.
An insignificant coin became the focal point of a life or death situation, for it to only be returned to his pocket and just become another coin again.
Metaphor for something

Since when does "same opportunity" become the same as "same rate of success"?? Nobody is telling niggers they can't act or create movies.
>>66564614
What is a nigger and who is this dusky beast?
>>66564614
>nobody is telling them they can't act or create movies
A year ago Birdman won Best Pic over Selma, because Birdman was the more technically-proficient, groundbreaking Film with a capital F.
This year Spotlight won, a film where the director just pointed the camera at whoever was talking, and that movie beat Revenant and Fury Road both.
Films of all cultures have seen box office success. Give everyone in the U.S. the same opportunity, and they all can etc etc...

I suppose Chris Rock wants black men to play Jay Edgar Hoover, Howard Hughes, an irsh migrant, a southern slaver, Romeo, a cop infiltrating the irish mob, a guy in alaska and so on and whanot. I'm sorry history is mosty white and black people have no stories worth telling besides drug dealers, slaves, athletes, and musicians.
