Now that the dust has settled, what did you think of KEKTRE?
>>66740802
It was reddit.
>>66740802
I liked that part at the clinic when Bond takes out one security guard then goes 'No!' at the other one like a cross school teacher.
>>66740802
Bad. The opening, with its stupid long takes and long (and boring) helicopter fight, could have just as easily been accomplished in a meeting or by spying with a computer. It was overly-done.
The villain was cliche. Rich guy who wants to destroy gets a scar on his face running down his eye socket, thus impairing his vision. And he attempts a getaway in a helicopter. It was basically a fancier Scooby Doo plot.
It was missing what made Skyfall and Casino Royale - danger. I mean legitimate danger, not...

Could Godzilla defeat 500 xenomorphs?
Probably. But could Godzilla defeat a Godzilla-sized Xenomorph?
Does the plot allow Godzilla to find the queen?
I'd buy a ticket either way.
No because xenomorph only appears in movies where they kill the masculine, the heroic, and the symbol of hope in most dirty and creepy ways

Comfy thread, guys. Get in here.

Who else does this?

it's actually pretty underrated
>haven't touched a woman in years
>just got done fapping for the fifth time today
>tomorrow will be just like the last
>I will continue to be a disappointment to my family
Other than that I'm pretty comfy. I don't have heartburn today.
here's the 10 hours long Shire Theme that is the soundtrack of Lord of the Rings.

Sam and Frodo look at each other:
>the Shire Theme music plays
Gandalf says the words "The Shire"
>the Shire Theme music plays
Bilbo Baggins is onscreen
>the Shire Theme music plays
Merry and Pippin eat something or smoke a pipe:
>the Shire Theme music plays
TEN FUCKING HOURS OF THE SHIRE...

the music is great retard
That's a fucking great theme though.
the music is well written but the themes are repeated so often that it does damage to the trilogy if you watch it in one sitting

He probably shouldn't have teamed up with Walt.
thanks captain hindsight
He probably shouldn't have played headgames with a dying man with a family to provide for who knew how to cook explosives under the implicit assumption that he could outsmart him.
Either kill Walt outright and try to approximate his recipe as best you can or just don't be a dick to him. Trying to drive Jessie apart from Walt was one of the things that really just drove him to evil.
Take your guess for when he shows up on Better Call Saul
What are some good british comedies?
Four Lions was bretty gud.
Monty Python
The Mighty Boosh
So, what did you think of this movie?
masterpiece
reminds me of another masterpiece called Caligula
Only Matthew was good in it
WARNER BROS. IS PLANNING ON REBOOTING THE ORIGINAL LOONEY TUNES SHOW WITH NEW AND OLD CHARACTERS WITH THE SAME SENSE OF COMEDY FROM THE 50'S!
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/looney-tunes-being-officially-rebooted-873905
>>66737017
I can't stand how Looney Tunes characters sound post Mel Blanc. They just don't sound right.
I don't care about this though because this will be for kids, I'll never watch it.
What do they do with Looney Tunes now though? It's all violence and aren't tons of overly protective parents against that?
>>66737163
It will be social justice, no violence, no sexism, no double entendre's.
I actually enjoyed the most recent reboot with the modern twist. They really brought new life to old characters and really fleshed them out in a really passive way. I dunno if I am making sense but I just want to say that I really dug that reboot. I watched many episodes.
stuff like this. super fun and rad

max landis didnt hate it
People who liked it simply don't understand what made Star Wars great. They are not aware of the basics as to how a storyline progresses or how characters develop. How could anyone be so blind to the damage that's been done and the true visions of Lucas we've been robbed of. Well, plebs are everywhere friend
I don't know why the fuck I slept on this for so long, but can we have a thread about this? Jesus this show is fucking heavy, just finished the last episode of season 8. Is it true Hart's daughter Aubrey was a victim when she was younger? What was up with her setting up those dolls and stuff?
>>66736321
I think Marty's daughter playing with the dolls and her drawings were just more of a reflection of how some kids, most kids are fascinated by sex at that age. I know I did similar shit at that age. Of course as you're watching through the first time you're looking for clues and it gives off that vibe of "hey, this will be important later" but as far as I remember it's not addressed again.
>>66736756
Not OP, but something not being addressed later on doesn't lessen the importance of a scene.
As far as I can tell, TD is meant to show its subtext implicitly.
>>66736871
Psychosphere.
The idea was that marty's constant contact with the case was bleeding through to his daughter.
So many plotholes with this movie...Tarantula ruined it for me with his lazy writing.
Too bad because there were some solid performances.
>>66736303
>plotholes
huh
>>66736303
What plotholes?
>It's a "I don't know what a word means but I say it anyway" argument
Is this a good film?
>>66735846
No, but it's a good movie.
>>66735846
Fun movie to watch with your dad desu
>>66735846
Its hollow. But the shell is sure nice.
so is this guy better or worst than ''every frame a painting''?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d46Azg3Pm4c
Its okay. Seems better in not stating the obvious lik every frame does.
>>66736123
It's not obvious to me.
worse, way worse
Every Frame a Painting points out stuff and actually seems interested in sharing knowledge of filmmaking
This guy just seems like that dude who 'helps' people to just make himself sound super smart
How do you feel about the current Star Wars Extended Canon?
What would you change?
What would you remove?
What would you add?
A mature video game would be cool. At least one, Disney. Do something for your adult fans.
>>66735442
I hate people like you.
>muh show needs to grow up because I grew up, forget the kids who's now just starting to get into the series
I unironically liked most of the New Jedi Order series, and I would have liked to see it adapted in some form. The Jedi Academy books could have made a solid kids' show if you cut out some of the dumber stuff (like the "Sun Crusher"). And although Legacy of the Force was a trainwreck, it had some elements that I wouldn't have minded seeing in Episodes 7, 8, and 9.
