It's over.
literally who cares. All this means is we're going to keep getting capeshit.

Yeah you get to see Debicki's big great boobies and her belly and her butt cheeks too what more do you want?
The season itself had some faults, but these were some of the best characters ever created
>>67054154
Ray Velcoro was a genuinely great character. Everyone else was kind of forgettable.
I mean I remember Frank Semyon, but that's only because of all the embarrassing lines he had to deliver.Never do anything out of hunger, even eating
>drunken father going through divorce tough guy
>tough chick with daddy issues
>closeted military man
>vince vaughn trying really hard to be a tough guy
literally meme characters that have not a single ounce of originality.
>>67054154
>but these were some of the best characters ever created
You're kidding, right?
They were so bare bones and cliche.
Top Gun 2
>Given that Tom Cruise is 53 years old, what would be an appropriate role for him? Admiral of a carrier group?
>Does the whole patriotic, gung-ho, "America's Navy is the bestest", true professionals message of Top Gun still work in this day and age?
>Should it stick with a simple plot of "let's remember we're pros and go bomb ISIS" or something deeper and more complex?
>>67053654
They'll probably be piloting drones
>>67053777
Trips confirm
Also Eric Roberts will be in it
>>67053777
I believe the last time it was brought up the plot was whether manned aircraft were still necessary in an age of drones, so basically the movie would've been Macross Plus
>tfw waking up everyday to based Karl
>tfw Americucks will never wake up with based Karl

Predict the state of cinematic capeshit in 20 years
>>67053576
The same as it was 10 years ago
>>67053576
Marvel v DC films.
Screencap this shit.
>>67053576
This is actually an interesting question, as I think the pendulum has swung from Gen X demanding a grittier, grimdark, Frank Miller treatment of their comic book heroes, to a Millennial demand for lighter, more noble and bright movies.
Capeshit will undoubtedly go away sooner rather than later, as genres come into and go out of vogue, but we may just end back up at 1970's style of capeshit when Millennials hit middle-age.
No capeshit, no monster movies, no action, just pure cinema.
What have you been watching lately?
>>67052866
Requiem for a Dream and Day for a Night, both 10/10. Gonna watch Fallen Angels and Chungking Express now.
>>67053014
>Day for a Night
Comedy isn't cinema.
>Chungking Express
Comedy isn't cinema.
>Fallen Angels
Crime isn't cinema.

Fuck off
Hey /tv/, I need some guidance on what horror movie to watch tonight
My favs are:
Blair's Witch
Exorcist
Shinning
Rosemary's Baby
The Tenant
I like atmosphere over gore or creepines, but if you guys know about a fun slasher to watch I'm game
Also I've watched ABCs of Death and VHS, found those to be kinda fun, so were the first REC. I disliked It Follows immensely tho
Just watched this the other day. Reminded me a bit of Blair Witch.

kairo pulse
ju-on
the taking of deborah logan
~~~the possession~~~
that's it
If you enjoy atmosphere over gore or creepiness I reccomend The Innocents and The Haunting (original, not the remake).
Both are subdued, claustrophobic and beautifully shot classic haunted house films.
GoT season 6 trailer thread
Could the flayed/burned man be Roose Bolton? Just a hunch, but the lyrics of the song from trailer are interesting when you see the Boltons.
We know since last season that the show will be completely different from the books so Ramsay could see pregnant Walda Frey/Bolton (and yesterday there was a rumor that it WAS Walda on the cross, serious) and his father as a threat to his heritage and try something.
That scene with Sansa trying to put that idea in Ramsay's head in season 5 might come in handy.
Of course in the...
Mad Max just won 6 Oscars, and John Wick got world-wide critical acclaim.
