I don't get it, bros.
300 and Dawn of the Dead were good films. Good dialogue, memorable character, very competent action.
What the hell happened to him?
>>67333985
He's a director. He works with the material he's given.
He was handed a David S Goyer script.
Snyder is better with small projects, he doesn't seem very good at spotting a bad idea when he sees one. He's a DP more than a proper director nowadays. His casting choices are very hit and miss. He's not very good with scripts either. He grew up brainwashed by MTV's aesthetics, substance has never been his thing. He shares a few flaws with JJ actually if you think about it. Same generation, same one dimensional approach to cinema, same style over substance weakness.
Dawn of the Dead is a remake of a cult classic and 300 is a literal adaptation of a graphic novel. In both cases the writing and general direction has been taken care of for him.
Think Foggy is-
More useful than not?
Sometimes useful?
or
Pretty useless?
and why?
Useless and pretty much no reason to be there everything he does can be done by another character more important to the show.
Foggy's useless
Karen's useless and a shit writer
Daredevil's useless
Punisher and Fisk are the only characters worth a damn
All Foggy-Bitch does is nag Matt who gets him all these great cases he can build his reputation on
>RT ratings meaning anything
what happened to /tv/ ?
Can you explain in great detail why those are wrong or are you just seeing other people post it?
They mean something when they support my claim :^)

non of those movies are good.
Is this patrician?
No, it's absolute pleb.
It only seems intelligent to your typical American because it's British.
i dont care it's fun as fuck
not patrician but pretty good movie
Why was this show popular?
Was it a mid-2000s thing?
>>67333416
It was good. It was male power fantasy. No one talks about it anymore.

This is actually pretty on point criticism, especially the thing about phones.
>>67333416
It was one of the most acclaimed shows on television senpai. It got Emmy nominations every year for the first five years of its run
There was a severe drop in quality around its fifth season and a shift in the landscape of entertainment media (more writers are millennial aged liberals who think a male fantasy is bad in principle) it retroactively was seen as a bad show.
Anyone still watching it? After the Christmas break the show has gotten a lot better, his delivery and the jokes too.
Plus, let's face it, he had big shoes to fill, following after Jon Stewart is not an easy task.
>>67333203
he looks kinda strained in the pic, he ok?
As much as I hate saying this, I really think John Oliver completely took over the comedy talk show genre. He really was supposed to be the successor of Stewart and he really demonstrates it. All the hipster faggots talk about john oliver all day and I RARELY hear people even mention the daily show anymore.
He's good
Made in 1999?
This movie feels so much older than that. The sound effects, the sound track, the way the scenes are shot, it all feels outdated to contemporary movies.
Event Horizon (1997) felt more modern than this. Prince of Darkness (1987) as well. Hell, even the original Alien (1979).
I don't think it's unfair to compare this to Hackers (1995) and that movie was ridiculous horseshit. Actually, I think Hackers did a better job at computer hacker mumbo jumbo with a breakbeat / industrial soundtrack and stupid outfits. At least it didn't take itself so seriously with the edgy counter culture quotables.

Oh no, he killed... Stanky. And Ajax? And the big dude who said one line. I think his name was Chevy Suburban.
The stakes are so high right now.

Walked straight outta the theater.

I honestly don't even know why they put that in there
8 mile is a road

It's the last line before the credits roll. You'd have gotten kicked out if you hadn't of left.
he's the closest thing we have of a famous robot and all his movies are box office bombs even though they're not bad
>>67332526
He needs to be Bond...

He needs to get balder for the part.
>robot

Is Steven Avery reverse O.J. Simpson?
>OJ: was clearly guilty, didn't get sentenced
>Avery: was clearly framed, got sentenced
I think they're comparable with these things being known by the public, but nobody can really do anything about it in either case.
Except he also did it.
>>67332429
>OJ guilty
The glove didn't fit. There was no actually evidence that proved OJ did it.
>no one will bring up the cat abuse
>Miss me yet DC?
>>67332297
DC needs to hire him for Justice League, anything to get rid of Snyder. Snyder is literally destroying the DC movie universe.

What is your favorite theater to go watch movies?
alamo drafthouse
AMC, it's close to me, clean and the service is usually pretty good.
>>67332070
I envy you.
I go to a theater that's a little out of the way. Tickets are $8 and seats are big and leather.
Thoughts /tv/
Not directed by Snyder or written by Goyer for starters

I don't know, i haven't see it. Care to explain?
Good tier, this and flash point paradox
