What went right?
>aaron sorkin writes a """"""""""conservative""""""""" protagonist who only attacks further-right strawmen
Olivia Munn wasn't terrible like in everything else
>what went right
Season 1 and season 3 only.
What do you think about Alison Lohman, /tv/? She was the lead in Drag Me To Hell, if you forgot, it seems like everyone's forgotten about that movie, and it was pretty good.

Why did none of the trailers ever show it had a comedic side?

Now that the dust has settled, did they do it?
No, they did not.
>>71761969
No. The guy was a total creep and a perv, but he didn't murder that girl.
>>71761969
Probably. Avery is a creep with plenty of physical evidence against him and Dacey's level of cognizance fluctuates suspiciously. I don't think people are aware of how many criminals are put away on far less evidence than Avery. It's not like the entire case rests on one piece of evidence or testimony.
Can it ever be adapted?
If so, who would be the ideal director?
Who would be the best person to cast as the Kid? The Judge?
How is a director supposed to capture McCarthy's wonderful prose and use of language? Tell me
>>71762821
By literally just putting the words on the screen obviously.
>>71761678
No.
If you forced me at gunpoint to produce one though:
Kodi Smit-McPhee as The Kid
The killer from season 1 of True Detective as The Judge
Ben Foster as Toadvine
Matthew McConaughey as Glanton
Omar from the Wire as Black Jackson
Tommy Lee Jones as Tobin the priest.
7 episode miniseries on HBO, directed by Ridley Scott.
Even then I don't think it could capture the essence of the novel well enough. It's the same reason there's never been...

smoked too much weed and paul mooneys racism theories caused chappelles thc addled mind to have a paranoid breakdown. now everything he observes is filtered in a black/white dynamic and hes a completely unfunny, race obsessed, insecure and burnt out.
Tired of Hollywood and it's bullshit, realized he had the money and everything already, and didn't want to stress anymore.
He pretty much only shows his face when he wants to do stand-up gigs and stuff again, or do an interview here and there.
Any good? And what is Foxtel?
>>71761116
Foxtel is an Australian pay television company, operating a duopoly in cable television, a monopoly in direct broadcast satellite television, and IPTV catch-up services. It was formed in 1995 through a joint venture established between News Corporation (now News Corp; through News Limited, now News Corp Australia) (FOX) and Telstra (TEL).
>>71761145
Its cheapest package is also more expensive than Netflix's most expensive package, while offering less content, less flexibility in viewing, and a 3-digit set-up cost
>>71761194
>>71761145
Foxtel is our version of cable in American but it is ridiculously overpriced by Jewpert Murdoch because it has a monopoly on cable and the actual content is fucking garbage.
It's something like $150-200 a month if you want all the half decent channels.
