>'Batman V Superman' Female Producer Working To Get More Women Behind Camera
>SNYDER: It's easier to look on screen, right, to see, oh, there's an absence of great roles for women. OK, we need to make a change. But I've been striving to figure out ways to try and get more women behind the camera.
>SNYDER: The first time we had her on set, I actually got teared up realizing what an impact and what a role model that she could be. You can be beautiful and sexy...

she can start by getting rid of her husband
but i bet she doesnt
Do these faggots even realize they're being condescending assholes when they say stuff like
>You can be beautiful and sexy and still be intelligent and strong
?
Is this the 1960s where saying something like that actually engenders a positive response? I thought this was current year and we were beyond garbage like that?
You can either be beautiful and sexy or intelligent and strong. There is no inbetween Snyder!!
>tfw you will have had over 500 roles before you die
and not one of them memorable
>>67509060
No, but he'll be like a ghost in your movies, popping up when you least suspect it
>>67509060
well he played the masta so he's memorable for the /who/ general

Is he right? He praises the film but points out that it'll get destroyed by the internet for weak plot spots.
>>67507966
He gives it a 5 which is a mixed score. Incidentally most of the critics gave it a 5 with the same reasons.
>>67508067
He says as a Marvel fan 5/10
Proper Critic 6/10
DC fan 7/10
fans wont be happy unless its super doomsday man vs the embodiment of evil from dimension 38 depicted in movie form
the only decent capeshit there is
That's not X2, Spiderman 2, Ironman, Winter Soldier or Antman.
>30 ships cant shoot down a dragonfly lady
>>67507648
I wouldn't say it is the only decent capeshit. It is by far the only decent X-men movie, including the Wolverine movies.
So you rank this higher than The Watchmen and Sin City?
what's pepe looking at?
These dubs
bvs shitposting
Hes looking at us...
>THE GOOD
Snyder's visual style
Batman's parents getting killed is a masterful scene
Courtroom scene
Batfleck
Lex was actually pretty good
Pacing
Action
Got rid of the flower recharge from shriveled-up supes
Dream sequences
Doomsday
Flash looks neat
Cyborg looks neat
>THE BAD
Wonder Woman didn't really need to be in the movie
Doomsday being THE ANCIENT EVIL KRYPTONIAN MUTATION ULTRAWEAPON is kinda dumb
I still don't like Lois Lane

I'd give it a 7.5/10, the dream sequences were a bit excessive and lacked context
Also it felt more like the first half of a justice league two-parter than a stand alone film, which I guess it is, but it suffered for it due to including a lot and not fulfilling it to its full potential
Still way more enjoyable than the critics implied
>>67507402
>Lex was actually pretty good
What
>>67508056
The piss jar and Martha pics were cool
And even if you disliked the character direction he at least performed it well
Can someone give me cliffs Dunkirk?
What are the big events that Nolan is most probably going to include?
Basically why Dunkirk?
Allies got fucked up and had to abandon shit hole in france.
>>67507170
>Allies got fucked up and had to abandon shit hole in france.
So..France?
>>67507170
So basically Omaha if Tom Sizemore didn't show up?
Am I the only one that really hates Suicide Squad as a concept?
>Lol so edgy criminals who have to do what we say cause they got bombs inside them cuz we're the big bad evil shady government lmao!
>>67507013
wife's son
It worked out pretty well in the first run of the Suicide Squad from the 80s
>>67507013
Just surprised how low will smith has fallen sacrificing his career to prop his son up and it didn't work.
Does the reboot have any chance of not sucking ass?
>>67506967
Honestly I don't think the fanbase is there anymore. He's a C tier comic hero from a forgotten age of the early 90's.
McFarlane dosent even make figures of him anymore. It wouldn't surprise me IF they made it that the majority of people would think it's a new concept.
the tv series was great though
>>67506967
Spawn is boring
Batman is boring
Superman is boring
Just let it all die.
Can someone recommend me a few good korean movies? Something similar to yellow sea or a bittersweet life.
>>67506939
The Chaser
>>67506939
>the yellow sea
how is that not a bollywood movie?
>>67507035
seen it but thanks
>Someones criticism of a movie is that "the time travel isn't realistic enough!"
>well if he traveled back in time and did this thing, wouldn't that change the outcome of other things too, which could have led through my autistic brain to him not being born at all and hence not doing the thing???
Dragonball Z is the only piece of media to get it right
>changing the past creates an alternate timeline that exists outside of your own universe
>can't change the state of the present in your own universe by going back in time
>Someone's praise of a movie is that "it's very well shot!"
itt: Overlooked side characters that make the movie what it is
Jackson owned this movie.
>>67506789
I agree. He stole the show and was the best part of the movie. Yet totally got snubbed at the Oscars, probably because they wanted to avoid controversy. Such an underappreciated actor in general despite making his roles iconic time and again.
Jackson went from sucking for crack to getting sucked for millions of dollars. American dream is real
>>67506854
>Such an underappreciated actor
lel what?
The characters in The Force Awakens don't argue enough.
The best parts of Star Wars are Han being all "what's in it for me?" and "no reward is worth this" and Leia being all "this is some rescue" and "get this walking carpet out of my way" and Luke being all "I tried that already it's magnetically sealed!" or "we could buy our own ship for that".
The Original Trio got on each other's fucking nerves and bonded because they went through some shit, but the Sequel Trio just get excited...

No, you didn't imagine it. It's one of the major failings of TFA.
Finn, Rey and Han (and to a lesser extent Poe) are way too trusting of one another and become insta-friends to a ridiculous degree. It's especially odd because Abrams is even aware of how important it is for characters to bond through adversity before becoming friends (see the 2009 Star Trek movie with Kirk and Spock), so he has no excuse this time.
I think it's because the plot was too big, large enough that they...

>The characters in The Force Awakens don't argue enough.
You're right. They all get along nicely bar "don't touch my hand" lines.
Why did Poe give a secret info to a stormtrooper?
Why didn't Rey sell the droid?
>>67506621
Dude why would they be arguing? It's 2016, don't be a bigot.
>Perry: "Nobody cares about Clark Kent taking on the Batman."
>[Perry turns to walk away]
>Clark: [under his breath] "And what if it's Superman taking on the Batman?"

>Clark: [pretend coughs] "Huh? Oh... I, uh... n-no, nothing!"

So, how many Doctors are there? Why can he regenerate that often? Why did they say "all thirteen" in DOTD if there are a lot more regenerations to come?
Because wibbly wobbly is short hand for "we write this shit in actual time because no one knows how to time travel yet"
Doctor Who is dead. Bury it. Consider this mercy.
It's generally agreed upon that, barring extreme exceptions, Time Lords have a "shared present", so they all agree on who is the "current" incarnation of the Doctor
13 came back because idk it was really cool
