He tried to save us all. He tried to give us capekino. He tried to flip the genre on its axis. He did all of this: for us.
But we rejected him. We turned our backs on him..I, myself, am guilty of this..
But I'm awakened now. I've seen the light. Zack Snyder, the father of capekino, has called to me. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a masterpiece. It's such a masterpiece, that we're scared of it. We rejected it. We dismissed it. We cursed it. We were afraid of change..afraid to be challenged. Afraid of the possibility that capeshit could...

I love the Coens, but I just didn't get this movie
dat haircut was evil.
I am trying to get a ride on the people that like or dislike BvsS and Interstellar.
If you liked BvsS did you like Interstellar or hate it?
Liked interstellar. Didn't like BvS very much. It was better than expected though.
I hated BvS and I hated Interstellar.
Both movies are visually "interest" but are otherwise hollow, emotionless hackjobs. Kill yourself if you liked either.

What should I watch next, /tv/? Are the last two even of comparable quality to the other 3? How good would you consider any of these shows compared to The Wire or The Sopranos? Something else entirely you'd like to suggest instead maybe? Pls help, it's hard to decide.

What did he mean by this?
So does this guy ever actually beat anyone other than hitler (who was a normal human being) ?
Every time I search for "Captain America VS <insert other super hero>" I see comic panels of Captain America either getting his ass handed to him or everyone else going easy on him.
What is his actual power level?
>>>>>>/co/
>>67604871
He beats powerful people all the time, but it is kind of unfair to post the one page where he stands up to the most powerful being in the universe at the time.

>Fanboys do not own the franchises of Batman and Superman movies, so director Zack Snyder went against the mob and dared to raise the genre to a level of adult sophistication in 2013’s Man of Steel, the most emotionally powerful superhero movie ever made. (Fanboys hated it.) Snyder’s sequel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice adds politics, bringing to the fantasy some contemporary, real-world concerns. This is not conventional comic-book allegory; rather, Snyder uses the figures of Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) walloping each other to give visible substance to social and moral issues, much as Greek tragedy does. He takes the wildest, Bizarro World fiction — of two superheroes turned super foes — and uses the premise to explicate our current dilemmas concerning power, principles, and divinity.
>In this age of petty Marvels, most comic-book movies merely perpetrate fantasies of power, but Snyder, enacting his personal aesthetic, braves a film that examines those fantasies. He boldly challenges popular culture’s current decay. Man of Steel was a magnificent, hugely satisfying response to what’s often missing in pop culture, and Batman v Superman raises more ideas without (yet) resolving them. An attempt to invoke other superheroes from the DC Comics stable, starting with Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot, accompanied by tribal drums that recall Snyder’s overawed feminist fantasia, Sucker Punch), ultimately goes unfulfilled. And Snyder, obliged to placate the Marvel hordes, lets a couple of fight scenes devolve into Avengers-trite turmoil.
>Still, the equation of moral myth and contemporary political catastrophe marks an important advance. Snyder intends to resolve the conflict between commerce and art, power and morality... With Batman v Superman, the battle for the soul of American culture is on.

>Currently cinemas collect a 5% tax on all ticket sales which is paid into the Central Movie Special Funds. However, cinemas which achieve two thirds of their revenues from Chinese films will be able to keep half of the tax, the Xinhua news agency reports. That is equivalent to a 2.5% incentive.
>The move follows only a week after China created a financial incentive for those films which do well abroad. It said that it would reward those films which score more than $153,000 (RMB1 million) at the overseas box office.

The Mermaid is some of the trashiest lowest common denominator horseshit ever made. I wish I could see the trashing it would get by critics if it was an english language movie
So it wasn't enough to dominate americans economically, now they have to do it with the entertainment industry too. Not like i mind, chinks at least won't shove gay shit and interracial breeding to our population like the hollywood jews do.
Are movies better if you watch them in a theater?
>>67603870
The experience is fundamentally different. I'm a firm believer that some movies can be enhanced by being watched at a good cinema.
I like to watch the larger action movies in the theater as the sound is really the biggest difference
i also like watching the more fun movies with an audience so I can be an americlap but more often than not i am more irritated at the people sitting next to me
if its something quieter I think watching in silence at home ist best
