>watch Naked Lunch
>Expect awesome body horror
>It's just a bunch of homo shit
> I can think of 2 things wrong with that title
Its a cool adaption by Cronenburg, but the book is a whole nother level of mindfuck, because he literally cut it up and reassembled the pieces. The jumbled words work subconsciously on your brain in a way a linear narrative film can not. Now, if the film was itself cut up and rearranged, that would be closer to the effect of the book.
So, why exactly can't women understand these kind of films?
Camaraderie, bravery in the face of overwhelming odds, gratuitous amounts of violence and gore, national pride, sense of duty, dead children, children using guns, actual science, lack of women in the actual film, no homoeroticism or romantic relationships to fanfic about, hairy old men, men not giving a fuck, etc.
Because men who say that are the kind of men that women close themselves off to out of self preservation. Then they use this as evidence that women are vapid.
This was my favorite movie for many years. I even read all the books. Maturin is a true bro.
Am I the only one who doesn't like the volume level while at the theater for some movies? I swear they crank it up to max level. I don't like how the ground rumbles any time during an action scene.
How do you like to eat your Oreos?
oh SHIT he's back
how did this dumb bitch even know kryptonite even what do?
Why was he such a dick?
What movies have that same kind of 'grimy modern / near-future crime ridden shithole metropolis' sort of feel like Robocop and to a lesser extent Dredd?
Should I watch this movie?
>Renewed for a 12th season
WHAT THE FUCK
HOW MUCH ARE THEY GONNA MILK AND SHIT IT UP
Who would you cast to star in and direct a film adaption of Blood Meridian?
Honestly I think he will come out of jail as the Lex we all expected.
(That's why they showed him being shaved)
Who, in honest fuck, subscribes to Sirius XM?
Those people plus Netflix/Hulu/HBOfags and Cablefags baffle me to this day.
>Directing Dr Strange...
GUYS! i have a horrible feeling about this...
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/celebrity/162653778/?search=Scott%20Derr check out the ratings for the movies he directed...
Even Snyder has better ratings...
Implying the directors hired by Marvel Studios have much of a say at all on how the film is made. They are there almost entirely to observe and make a few suggestions here and there, Joss Whedon being a bit of an exception
