Who's a better villain, Kylo Ren or Lex Luthor?
>>67770409
>implying either is the villain
>>67770409
Kylo
even though his reasons for going to the dark side were shitty, he had like 3 major movies behind him to build his motivation, where as Lex kinda had to do it in one and didnt really establish anything.
villains are so pathetic and lame nowadays
well, /tv/?
Watchmen is bad and Snyder is a fucking retard who cannot think properly, he should make a dumb action movie instead of trying to do deconstructions because he always fucks them up (even when hes literally copy and pasting someone else's story)
>>67770379
>Watchmen is bad
reddits meme opinion
>>67770181
>muh directors cut
Only hacks rely on director's cuts, true kino stands alone
>some dumb pleb tells me BVS has bad editing
>has never touched avid let alone premiere
that argument is retarded because you would never say that to someone who's opinion you agreed with. i.e. if your "dumb pleb" friend had said it had good editing you wouldn't say "well you've never used avid so how do you know what good editing is?"
>>67770093
>reason they hate the movie is because bad editing
>no idea what that entails
>other friend who likes BVS likes it because of story and deep philosophical themes
>his lack of editing knowledge isn't needed here
>implying avid is more accessible than premiere pro
Why is this movie so good?
>>67770036
Can't bruise the Cruise
Can't scoff the Hoff
>i have become Rain Man
seriously?
>>67770036
Because it is too smart for Marvel fans
What did he mean by this?
fuck i love bloodborne. this is /v/eddit right
>>67770931
It's dead space, bruh
Better than up the ass I guess
Anybody here seen Eye in the Sky? Just got back from a screening at a local cinema and I thought it was brilliant. One of the most tense films I've seen in years and possibly the best portrayal of the moral complexity of modern conflicts.
Really? No love for Alan Rickman's final role?
93% on RT.
Where were you when Aaron Paul surpassed Cranston?
>>67770101
He was pretty good in it, even if his role was limited.
This man made a masterpiece, and it's bombing
Shame on you America, hope you all enjoyed Quiptron
>>67769331
This, he's the Lex with a cunning master plan. In reality he exposed America's decaying culture.
In all honesty, I enjoyed the film. If they're going back and making DC films all quip heavy now then I'm on the capeshit should end train now.
God these fuckers
We could have had a golden era of cape films, but now capekino finally comes to an end
This flick was impressively long and boring. Did anyone else come away with the distinct impression the moral of the story was "this is fun as fuck, don't get caught?" Not a terrible flick by any means, but I felt like the source material got the better of Martin Scorsese and it ends up being wandery and lacking a point.
Sure, at the end, he spends a few years in jail and loses his wife/kids (or at least that's implied) but he's still well off and had a blast.
>>67769273
It was based on book, in his book he was like I was good boi, I dindu, it was bad gov etc.
It was really boring. Felt like wasted time after it was done.
the message is enjoy the ride or something
>I'm not wearing hocky pants.
WTF are hocky pants?
Pants with hockey team logos on them obviously
>>67769191
they are literally a thing
>>67769191
pads
Kino
>>67769099
what did James Gunn mean by this?
>>67769141
Truly sublime and intelligent. James Gunn supposedly cut it because it was too smart for DC fans to understand.
>>67769099
kino doesnt apply in this movie
lurk more OP
anyone seen this?
baguette
baguette
>>67769410
does this movie demand 'big screen'?
>>67768802
the adults
>Sophie Turner
>Jennifer Lawrence
Who the fuck did the casting?
>>67768802
Did they tell us how Xman: the origins Wolverine and Deadpool can cohexist?
Xbox, find me a job
>>67768520
>implying he isn't hot property right now
You go right ahead and stay jealous of a multi-millionaire actor who's appearing in high-quality films and television series, though. Whatever helps you sleep at night, friend.
He's got that new Hulu show about a cultist and he's voicing the main character in the new Final Fantasy movie, plus he's an executive producer and regular on Bojack Horseman. Dude has plenty of money flowing in.
XBAWKZ
BITCH
There are tons of comedies about manchildren but why aren't there many comedies about women that act like children? Is this Hollywood being sexist?
What are you talking about? There are millions of movies about women acting like themselves
Is that a best Emma for ants?

ITT: Otherwise decent films, that were ruined by unnecessary American violence
>>67768498
