As to tv shows, I am in the minority who not only does not get the obsession with current tv shows but also believes that nothing will EVER match the best episodes of the Sopranos. Seriously. If one were to ask what are the greatest examples of recorded television, there's the standout episodes of the first 4 seasons of The Sopranos and everything else, from The Wire to Breaking Bad to Game of Thrones down the the lowest level staged reality shows and talk shows, in a separate giant blog of shows that could never match it.

This will be his biggest show of his career
Hi guys i hope you can help me.
i am trying to find an old sci fi movie or mini series i watched in the 80's
the only thing i can remember is that its about a space ship heading back to earth, and also a character needs to hold a cable together otherwise the gun wont fire.
i know its a bit vague.
>pic not related...its battle beyond the stars
Why does /tv/ never talk about this?
I really liked the first season and how they kept the pace high.
Over explanatory narrator kills the show for me
its gergous however, the neon club shootout scene looks amazing on my 4k tv, and they are some beautiful moments like pablo standing in the field looking off screen.
This movie would NEVER be allowed on /tv/. It involves a Parental Guidance (PG) rating and a boy getting everything he wants. You ever see it? It's called Blank Check and it's a hoot and a holler. from some guy who reminds me of John Candy being the best friend, to the distant dad who learns to pay attention to his boy, this 1990s movie is a must-classic.
