What's the deal with curry cinema? Is it supposed to be ironic?
I mean would YOU put a lot of effort into your movie if you knew your audience would see it like this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaphLNZBMWQ&nohtml5=False
they're really poor, this was made decades ago and they don't take cinema as seriously as the west in general let alone /tv/ autists
>>68006456
Subhuman.
Be subjective, /tv/!
Is it good?It's not.
>>68006423
It's garbage. Literally an acid trip fueled movie.
I liked it until the whole epilepsy old age sequence. Up until that it was fairly good imo
the monkey part > the space ship part > the acid trip
the monkey part is true kino
How did these two autists even manage to become crimelords?
>>68006402
Smart and direct, logical, enough to command respect - two traits found in many autistic people with some semblance of power.
>>68006402
First one's dialogue was so incomprehensible, people mistook him for smart. The other one can decapitate you with a car door.

ITT: 10/10 TV series
Marathoning it for the 6th time now. Still holds up after all those years. Real masterpiece. Haters are just stupid to understand it.
Still mad.
Ending was literally Ancient Aliens.
Forever mad.
>>68006243
The ending wasn't even that bad, redditors like you just like to bitch over literally nothing

I'm hella hyped for his speed increase
>Mad Max: Fury Road was essentially Mad Max for girls
>Star Wars: The Force Awakens was basically Star Wars for girls
>The CBS Supergirl show is Superman for girls
>The Ghostbusters reboot is literally just Ghostbusters for girls
How long until they reimagine this sci fi classic with a female lead? Is anyone getting sick of this because its kind of lazy or do you want more movies and shows get remade with a female lead?
It was already made by girls.
I'm ambivalent. Fury Road was good, I actually liked TFA but Rey was written poorly. Supergirl is shit. Ghostbusters looks shit.
It really depends on the writing. If it's good, then I have no issue with female characters
>>68005998
I don't give a shit about female vs male leads. I care that the characters be well written.
No one in Fury Road seems to have any characterization. Rey in TFA is perfect, everyone loves her instantly, and it makes her completely boring.
I couldn't get past the first episode of Supergirl. I didn't find the character compelling, and a lot of elements seemed cliche.
I've seen the Ghostbusters trailer. I wouldn't mind never seeing it again. It's not funny in the least;...

reviews are coming in and it's getting nothing but praise

ITT: people who don't like it most likely didn't get it. Very much like A Field In England, this was about a slow descent into insanity.
It was a poor adaptation though. I prefered by far A Field in England.
>It's another Northern Ireland film made with lottery money.
They all have good concepts but are horribly acted and executed and 70% feature Colin Meaney. Is this one any different.
>>68007220
The acting is really mediocre, but Ben Wheatley's cinematography is the only thing saving the movie. The adaptation work is terrible.
